He's a lock. 3rd rounder will be given every opportunity to prove the FO right.

This. There is no way he doesnt make the team in year 2.

Yep, he's a lock along with Mitchell, & Davis-Price, I'd put Wilson too, due to the GTD money he got, but his spot is more soft lock.

Agree, too soon to declare him a bust. He has talent, and if he can pick up the offense, watch out. Kyle is going to play a lot of bully ball. He already is a wonderful pass reciever- which (i think) many times is more important in Kyle's offense than running the ball. I'm pulling for him to break into the starting line-up.

The talent is there. It just did not look good at all. Perhaps being surpassed by a 6th round pick last year and the team drafting a RB in the 3rd again will light a fire. As it stands, Mitchell, Wilson, and Hasty all have to be ahead of him.

In a word, spoiled. Lol
In today's league it's RBBC all over the place.. you can count on one hand how many bellcow backs there are and those guys are the first to get hurt.. CMC, Saquon, Cook, etc..

Sermon is fine. He will rebound. Remember he got busted up went down awkward his first carry. Just not his year but that happens sometimes. It's a short season. He may even emerge as a lead back this year.

It was a good carry too if I remember correctly
Is he cut already?

Is he the next Kevan Barlow?

In his dreams, maybe.

Barlow was a serviceable RB or for us during a 3-4 year stretch and even had a 1000 yard season on a 5.1 ypc in 2003.

Trey Sermon is looking like Joe Williams but without the talent.
Tick tock, tick tock. Dude better come out of the gates on fire or he's gonna be just a blemish on last years draft after the 53 man roster is set

Hopefully he sees TDP as a challenge and inspires him to just blow the coaches out of the water with his growth in the 2nd year. A lot of players with talent grow tons in their 2nd year, and that's my hope for Sermon. TDP + Sermon is a mean backfield that can road grade teams in the 4th QTR after Trey and his bombs roast opposing defenses.
Might be traded during final cut down period. Some RB desperate team may come calling.
