Replace Hasty with Mason and you have something.

I don't know too much about Mason, but for a guy that weighs 223 lbs and runs a 4.48. Shouldn't he have been drafted in the first four rounds?

Has anybody added anything new to this conversation in the last 5 months?

No
Unless things change with Trey under center I don't think the TDP & Sermon's of the world exactly fit what we do.

This does not concern me much as I think Mitchell can be a top 5-8 back in the league if he stays healthy and gets the workload that some of these other backs get. But then again Alfred Morris did well in this offense so why can't TDP & Sermon? Time will tell.

Heard he fumbled a handoff on his first touch the other day

Hasty's not making this roster.
Hasty will be lucky if he makes our PS this year. Have to figure we roll with Mitchell-TDP, then Sermon-Wilson? That's 4 RB's on the 53, I would probably keep 1 inactive though. If there is a roster crunch, I would look to trade Wilson for a future 7th, or a player that we can cut with no dead cap money. I think Mitchell has like 500K guaranteed, so saving that money would be nice if he's not better than Mitchell+Sermon+TDP.

Having Hasty+Mason on our PS would give us good depth if/when we have an injury to one/all of our rb's.

Nope. And thats most discussions on here. Especially if you are on the non producing side.
his name has been Very quiet so far in Mini camp & OTA's... I'm rooting for him but I have a gut feeling he will not be on the team when we start the season. I hope I'm wrong

He's already a wonderful pass receiver - and in Kyle's system, there's always a place for a RB that can catch passes. I'm hoping he'll make that all important 2nd year jump in ability so that he can make the 53. He's a big back, and he'll add size and power to that bunch - if he can just figure out how to hit the right hole vs hesitating he should make the team. I'm also pulling for him.
I'm still on board the Sermon train.

Big year for him. Hopefully, he steps up like I expected him coming out college.
He could be RB1, 2, 3, 4, 5, or cut.

We'll see…
