He worked incredibly hard and had a tremendous offseason. Hasn't showed up in the games, but throughout training camp has been one of our best players.

Lmao. He's making the team. I predict outrage on cut down day 💀
After what Lynch said, hard to think Sermon is cut and Hasty and Mason makes 53.. Mason still has a chance but Hasty bye bye.

That's my thinking too. Lynch and Kyle seem to like Sermon for whatever reason. Looks like Hasty will be cut, with Mason being placed on the practice squad.

In what way? You mean if he makes the team? We've already seen us make mistakes on roster decisions. DJ Reed comes to mind. I was high on Sermon predraft but Mason looks better in every way you look at it. And that's saying something since I usually try to grade players on a curve who face 3rd stringers in these games vs someone like Sermon who faces some starters.

Reason is he looks like a 2nd year player and Mason looks like a rookie that flashed vs teams with very bad backups and 3rd stringers. 9ers got lucky last year with Mitchell, the kid was ready to play and showed it and produced vs NFL starters as a rookie.

Some people still don't understand just like starters, backups and 3rd stringers that don't even belong in the NFL varied greatly from team to team 😒 so if Mason flashes vs some team's backups and 3rd stringers doesn't mean he is ready to produce vs NFL starters week to week in the regular season and beyond. Look at the competition.

Professional observations, evaluation and decision making, why these people are hired and paid to do what they do and you're not.

He's the GM for a reason. He might not hit on all the draft picks, like any other GM, but once you get the players in the building, it's not hard to evaluate if they are 53 worthy or PS or cut comparing to the other players in the building or what's available in free agency if you have money to spend and the cap space, that's his job as GM. And Kyle and this coaching staff doesn't care and isn't scare to promote or demote anyone at any position as evident, example AB in the dog house and Mitchell over Sermon last season.

You just repeated what I said… not sure what your point is.

I'm saying Mason is clearly the better player in every way with the context of him playing later in these games against worse players. Do you disagree?
If I'm keeping it real, I didn't think he looked that bad last night. The OL was f**king putrid, and the DL kept meeting Sermon in the backfield. He had a couple nice runs where he showed some contact balance and power.

I just don't think he's a great fit for what Kyle does.

Means nothing is what I am saying and Lynch agrees. Are you or drama hacks to create subs and views like Cohn evaluating the competition as well, instead of just a 1 sided view and small sample size, to get an actual big picture on a player who flashes vs weaker competition as oppose to NFL starters? I don't even think Mason faces starters in TC, that's another issue and people like you who isn't at TC and practice don't even see but Lynch and Kyle does, end of story if rooks like Mason that flashes vs backup and 3rd stringers make 53, go to PS or is cut.

BTW buddy, I'll mute anyone who disagree with nonsense just to prove a moot point as I did you, cya

He deserves to be cut. He is running scared out there ever since the concussion. He is afraid to hit the hole, and he does not deserve a roster spot over Mason.
This place is turning into a future crow buffet.. all you can eat

I think Lynch just disagree with cohn and your assessment today due to lack of data and thus proper evaluation.

LOL all due to how bad the o line is and Jimmy G holding up 26+ M 🤣

In a way Lynch is eating crow himself for keeping Jimmy and not fixing the holes in the o line now that Mack and Tomlinson is gone. It ALL goes back to Jimmy for doing his shoulder late on purpose, KARMA, the Jimmy story won't end well for Jimmy, 9ers are moving on with Trey Era regardless
