My comp for him is Melvin Gordon

At 215 he ran a 1.49 10 spit 👀
6.84 3-cone 👀

Thanks NY I was looking for that 10 yards split. How is he compared to the best running back's in this class or even the NFL?

94th percentile in the NFL 👀

For reference Alvin Kamara ran a 1.55 10 yard split.
Melvin Gordon ran 1.62. Dalvin Cook ran a 1.59. Ezekiel Elliott ran a 1.58. Matt Breida ran a 1.53. Raheem Mostert ran a 1.49.

Yeah, John Lynch said the loved his 10 yard acceleration time. That's what you need to be a dominant running back.

and we don't need him to be a "power back," just well-rounded, which he is

This dude is a ball player, given a shot and in our scheme he will shine.
Bobby Turner 'bout to get medieval on both Lynch and Kyle if they didn't take a RB in this draft-- they got him 2 RB. Bobby like an ally cat the last few years, looking for UDFA RB in the waste bins

Screw the holdout. He can't stay on the field.

Are the Niners going to let him wear #8?
Does he hang on to the ball ?

Beast Mode is a one of a kind. No RB ever like him.
I feel like I see Demarco Murray in him

Melvin Gordon 2.0

He's explosive just doesn't have that long speed. He's got great contact balance like Gordon. I'd say he's a better pass catcher (coming out of college) Good feet like Gordon.

That's a great comp. Like it a lot.
