Is Wayne a better, more well-rounded player than Wilson?

With ShanaLynch they always look for like-skill sets for depth like Hurd + Jennings.

Are the COVID rules going to be the same this year? 16 on the PS including veterans?

Kyle likes his power early in the game (i.e. Coleman):
Power: Trey Sermon & Wayne Gallman or Jeff Wilson Jr.
Speed: Raheem Mostert & Elijah Mitchell

I can't decide if Wilson or Gallman would be safest on the PS as a veteran or if they can even be touched as veteran PS players.

No clue about the Covid PS stuff...Wilson is being paid more, Gallman has no gtd cash at all. He's an easy cut and a guy you can bring back through out the yr imo.

Wilson imo is a better all around RB.

Gotcha. I'm leaning towards Wilson staying on as 1 of the 4 as well.

I think they keep all five. Four as dedicated RBs and Mitchell because he can do other things too and he backs up the more fragile guys (Mostert and Wilson).

I see no way they keep 5 RBs plus Juice on the final 53 man roster....Gallman has no GTD cash compared to the other guys.
If Sermon balls out, this offense,...forget about it.

I love Mostert, but with how often this dude gets hurt, I really see Sermon getting quite a few carries this season.

Looking forward to see the RB depth chart.

This is someone I see slowly taking over as RB1 as the season rolls along, especially towards the playoff push in the end. We needed someone like this badly. A legitimate power back with pretty good hands. A souped up Jeff Wilson.

Yeah. Don't be surprised if he has a slow start. Here's his 2020 totals by game until he got injured.

I think his slow start had to do with transferring from Oklahoma and the weird Covid offseason and season. Seems like he got more comfortable as he learned more.
His slow start might have been because of the change of system that he played in. He went from Oklahoma's power scheme that focused heavily on the counter to Ohio State's zone scheme. Once he got comfortable with the new scheme, he started to dominate.

They gotta be consistent with mostert like they where with Jimmy and they did just that.

One thing I like about him is that he's a big strider and is always falling forward.

We may have found our goal line and short yardage back.

Agreed ... I think Wilson will be gone.
Wilson is a bad ass they will keep him unless they can get a decent trade

Gallman is probably cut.

Or they trade him or one of the other RB's ...... or one is put on IR as they are often injured

Barrows' interviewed McCloughan regarding the 49ers draft class. He compared Sermon to . . . Anthony Dixon?

McDrunk is an idiot, drafted worthless RB Glen Coffee early in rd3 had career 2.7 ypc avg

Trade him? Dude was on the street a couple weeks ago...they aren't gonna have 5 RBs and Juice on the 53 man roster.
EZ everyone !! easyyy !!

the last RB hype we had who even according to MIKE SHANAHAN after we drafted one was KEVAN BARLOW... and look how that turned out !!

the more I watch him the more he reminds me of CARLOS HURT when he was at OHIO STATE..

Hopefully the next Frank Gore and not Joe Williams.

More like Roger Craig with that upright style and refuse to go down attitude.
