Anyone should be happy with him playing like 2002/03 Kevan Barlow. The Barlow after that though, not as much.

First Jersey I ever wore. (it was one of those cheap Walmart specials) After that and a Crabtree I stopped buying them.

Dude I think I had the same jersey lol. It was like more thick than a standard jersey if I recall correctly

Psh amateurs. Y'all had Barlow jerseys while I rocked Julian Peterson

I had Peterson too. I always tend to get LB jerseys more than DL or CB/S. I guess it would help if we had excellent corner or safety play. Damn Seattle has been taking Niner sloppy seconds forever

You're right - the Treys will pay big dividends.

* Thanks, Illinois.

This guy is going to be an underrated fantasy player. If Mostert gets hurt he's the next man up

Kyle likes to employ the bigger/physical bodies first at RB and then hit them with the Mostert speed after a few body blows and getting defenders to think inside the box. Gallman and Sermon could get a ton of carries to start games. Same formula with Coleman+Wilson/Mostert.

Lots of inside with Gallman/Sermon and outside with Mostert/Mitchell.

mostert is great and will be starter this year but i think we will move on from him next year and thats what this pick is for

I also think Trey was drafted to help in short yardage situations this year he is a much bigger body

Not to mention the improvement at center and getting beefier at RG. Add in a bit of Trey Lance and his size and short yardage looking pretty yummy.

... it all depends on what Sermon can show..

I see him more as a much better Wilson replacement. Watching his highlights, am I the only one that gets a Frank Gore vibe? How he uses his blocking, picks his holes and that crazy balance. And spare me the 'how dare I compare a rook to a legend like Gore'. Just saying his college tape reminds me of the tank. Let's hope it translates to the pros.

That run that he broke the record on was vintage Gore worthy. He runs like college Gore did.

Yeah, it's going to be fun watching him run the ball.

If you read Mitchell's scouting report, you would know that one of his weaknesses is he runs upright and doesn't have the cutting ability of Mostert. He'll have a challenge making the top 53.

teaching someone not to run upright might be the easiest thing to fix.

I agree mitchell is not the type of runner that could be a feature back/3 down back because he isnt great in between the tackles but as ive read and seen multiple times he is one of the best rb for running outside the tackles which is important in KS scheme.
