Sermon and Mitchell are the RBs of the future, maybe along with Wilson once he gets healthy, and Hasty

Mostert is the RB for the now. Mostert's only problem is that he is like a Ferrari. When he is in "perfect" condition, he can't be beat. The problem is all the nicks and ankle sprains, kinda link a clogged fuel injector. I'll the take the under bet on Mostert playing 16 games (well now 17) every day, and twice on Sunday

An 'under' bet on 16/17 games for a RB. Anybody would take that on any RB. Let's put it at 10 games, and how would you go ?

Fair enough, I'll go with the over at 11

Fast for a 6'0 220 pounder but the fact that he runs an elite 10 yard split (same as Mostert ) is all I need to know about our future RB. I just hope we can keep both of them

Mostert and Sermon are going to tear it up together - can't wait.

Kyle likes to employ the bigger/physical bodies first at RB and then hit them with the Mostert speed after a few body blows and getting defenders to think inside the box. Gallman and Sermon could get a ton of carries to start games. Same formula with Coleman+Wilson/Mostert.

Lots of inside with Gallman/Sermon and outside with Mostert/Mitchell.

If you read Mitchell's scouting report, you would know that one of his weaknesses is he runs upright and doesn't have the cutting ability of Mostert. He'll have a challenge making the top 53.

Mostert had a challenge making a 53 himself, was a part of 6 different rosters in 2 seasons before he landed here. The same guy who coached up Mostert will be coaching up Mitchell, and they both play within the same system with the same play caller.

The system itself and the coaches coaching it have a lengthy and proven track record of success with finding, developing and getting production at the RB position from the finest athletes working at Target.

Mitchell is in good hands but only time will tell if he is the next late round Shanahan running back find or not

It's comments like these that make me wonder if fans even watch the games.

ncommand— I know that's Kyle's strategy with backs but he was an idiot anytime he started Coleman over Mostert.

now Evil.... if you think Mostert will have problems making the 53 then you just don't appreciate Mostert. He's not just speed. He's still learning to setup his blockers but you can tell once he gets rolling he's basically an 80 yard TD waiting to happen on every play. He made the offense tick most of the time, unless Shanny forgets about the run and has to use Kittle to bail him out on 3rd and long.

Mostert is really, really good. His angles are better, his speed is better and he's tough too. It ain't the system. Mostert can bust the home run but Coleman gets 6 yards that's the difference.

He said Mostert "had" a challenge making a 53 man himself. Not that he was going to have any trouble making it this year. He even pointed out he was on 6 different rosters before getting here and breaking out.
Finally, a Sunday Sermon that I will pay attention to

Corny, but yet still very funny.
Hoping this week Sermon, Lance & Thomas sign their contracts.
Sermon just signed his rookie deal. 4 years worth $4.9 Million. Now just need Lance and Thomas which I expect both to happen within the next week.
