He may be active but not see any snaps as a 3rd string RB.

Should have kept Wayne Gallman and released Sermon

Gallman didn't play today either.
Sermon not suiting up was a big disappointment. Not just on Sermon but whoever is scouting these early draft RBs.

Almost as if they are only looking at 10 yard splits.

I'll reserve judgment. It's a long season and we'll probably need him at some point.

You're disappointed in shanahan because he makes all the picks
Maybe perhaps Mitchell is showing himself to be the better back. dude balled out. Sermon will get a shot, especially with Mostert always getting dinged up.

Niner talk gonna niner talks tho
Was Sermon having issues with pass pro?

That's what I'm thinking
Sermon didn't show anything positive in preseason. I never got the hype

It is over reaction Monday. It really is a thing. Fans always need to vent about something

It is and we need to vent. Sermon will play "after he learns to be a pro", and he will be our short yardage back.
Mitchell will be the guy until then.

Neither did Mitchell and he went off

That would make sense.

Mitchell looked good in the few snaps that I saw. Also there were reports that he looked great in camp prior to his injury.

That was all true about Sermon as well.

They really ought to stop looking at RB early in the draft, or even in FA for that matter. Every year just grab two or three guys in the later rounds and UDFA, odds are at least one will be decent in this offense.
