glad he's on the mend.

he tried to get back up but couldnt im guessing you didnt see that?

Are you talking about during the play? He lifted his head up and saw Eagles player run by him and put it back down. I didn't see during commercial break.

No need to raise your blood pressure here, I'm not saying he didn't get hit but I have seen worse. Especially the Pierre Thomas hit that others have compared it to in terms of why we got the ball back.

thats what i meant by he was dizzy he failed the concussion protocol and repeated hits to the head is worse than 1 especially when you fall head first to the ground after 2 hits prior to the head. Yes he was dizzy because the force exerted when he hit the head was enough for him to be momentarily knocked out even if you forget about teh hits to the head prior

Keep your head up kid...literally.

The first DB whacked him behind his head forcing it down. The 2nd one speared him.

I'm thinking he had his "bell rung". If you have not experienced it in sports it's an eye opener for sure.

Hoping he's good to go either this week or next. Someone just dropped him in my league and I was able to pick him up.

I keep waiting for that to happen in my league!

I know Sermon got hit hard but he seemed to be milking it, as he should have in that scenario. I didn't see him go out but I get the protocol he's in. Just not surprised if/when he gets on the field this week.

I rather not veer into that area of accusing someone of milking it with a head injury. That s**t is serious and life threatening at times. Especially at the NFL level.

Even if he is back on the field, I hope we use him sparingly.

My point was that it didn't look like a catastrophic hit like some of them are. I know head injuries are subjective and vary, that's why I'm not surprised if he's back on the field next weekend.

Dudes can milk hits to the head to draw a penalty. I'm not accusing him of being soft though, y'all can stop clutching your pearls.

he got hit 3 times in the head at 3 different positions in less than 3 seconds

Yeah, Ryan Shazier's didn't look that bad at first and the dude has been fighting to learn to walk again every since.

He went head first into the ground at full speed, after/during getting hit.

looks like sermon might be the starter?! that was unexpected. drafting him and not bidding on elijah might just work out for me

I'll double down on that 100%. Having had multiple concussions before… I felt for him. He got his bell rung, the stars started to deteriorate where he felt he could start to see again without twinkly lights and thought he could start moving again but then the brain short circuits and says "nah you are gonna be here for awhile" right as the vertigo hits, that's why he put his head back down after trying to get up.

Glad he is okay enough to play again, hopefully he doesn't have too many hits to the head this week so he doesn't get a set back.

The good news is that the Packers defense is very soft. I don't expect Sermon to take too many big hits, if any.

Not sure what you were watching youngone, but that hit was nasty. Even full speed when the play was happening it looked bad. Even worse on replay. I can't believe he will be playing this weekend.

Trey Sermon got to play with Baker Mayfield, Kyler Murray, Jalen Hurts, and Justin Fields. How cool is that?

Not as cool as getting to play with Jimmy G.
