For me the first shot was totally intentional. He clearly went for the head with his arm unless I´m totally blind.

That forearm to the head was intentional, that guy should get a hefty fine for throwing it.
Have a feeling he's going to have a big game and show why we got him. He won't let go of the starting job.

Trey Sermon got to play with Baker Mayfield, Kyler Murray, Jalen Hurts, and Justin Fields. How cool is that?

Not as cool as getting to play with Jimmy G.

or for Kyle Shanahan.

Hoping he's cleared by Sunday

Same, I thought his one run was legit. Great burst and contact balance. Trash Philly players with dirty hits

The fact that Sermons 10 yard split is THE SAME AS MOSTERT'S is absolutely ridiculous. I believe it's top 10 in the nfl. What a burst snd he has amazing contact balance. Shanahan imo is wrong to limit his playing time. Unless he doesn't have the playbook down or can't pass block (which I doubt) he needs more snaps

Agree, Kyle usually doesn't spend a ton of draft capital on RBs unless they are special. I'm looking forward to seeing him play when Kyle gives the go ahead.

Yeah it's so impressive and he does run over people. His last season of college tape again the best competition was excellent. I think we have a keeper. He can catch too

Joe Williams or Legarret Blount? I don't know. We'll find out in a couple of days.

One thing I've believed in for a long time, is that Kyle's needed a thunder back to complement his lighting backs. In other words, he's had the Mosterts, Colmans', and Freemans as backs - runners who are fast and explosive, but in my opinion, he lost two supebowls because he didn't have a back that could gain yardage against 8 man fronts. A guy that can put teams away with the run. A guy like Legarret who can run though tackles. My hope is that Sermon is the back that can compliment his other speed backs, and be that guy that closes the game in the 4th quarter for the win.

This is what I have hoped for in a 3rd round draft pick RB since we drafted Frank Gore

This thread went from "we don't really need this guy" to "you're our RB1 now" in the blink of an eye.

It's called process of (injury) elimination lol.
I am excited to see Trey play today. I thought he looked explosive in his one run last week. Something I am worried about though is fumbles, granted he did get Blasted by a dirty hot last week and in the preseason he got injured vs the chiefs when he fumbled so it may not be a problem but it will be something I'm going to watch for.
Alright Sermon, prove me wrong! Crush our enemies, see them driven before you, and hear the lamentations of their women.
