Dumb teams draft players like Sermon to begin with. There was no need drafting a RB that high, especially If they planned on drafting one In the later rounds too.

Correct

They didn't plan on drafting one in the later rounds though. Mitchell was the best player on their board at the time. In hindsight they should have drafted another one too.
Let's face it, Sermon in the 3rd was definitely a head scratcher.

After the draft played out we were all thinking Sermon would clearly have the bigger rookie season, instead it's Mitchell.

If these 2 had swapped draft positions we wouldn't be having this conversation. It be a moot point.

Correct

he was valued as a third-rounder by most draft experts. Context with your "analysis" is missing greatly.

We had more Important needs than a RB at that particular time, like a Cb. We could have drafted a RB through the later rounds, like we did with the other guy. No need to draft two Rbs when we have other positions of need.

I think whenever we draft two of the same offensive position, it's because Kyle wanted a guy and then the scouts get to have their guy too. Wonder who Kyle wanted?

Sermon, no doubt. He locks on to his target and It's pretty much a done deal.

IT'S no difference to the way he coaches... there is NO game planning...

Sermon can or may still turn out to be a STAR, but the fact that how can you think of drafting another RB knowing that he ain't the answer on to get our D stronger ??

it's very contradicting IMO since The Best Mind in The NFL supposedly can make a RB look good, if that really is true, then why draft ANOTHER RB high??

Was KS planning to just run the ball to the opponents throat until they can stop it? uhmmmm - that was not the case in the Super Bowl..

No?

Shanny loves his RB's - I wasn't surprised he took one in the 3rd.
