It's okay as long as we outscored the other team by 28+

Bet we sign Mosely long term.

I love Trey Sermon. Guy is fast enough, can catch and hell to take dwn. The way he tore Clemson up was it for me
Maybe we are going to try and dominate the time of possession so defense isn't the biggest priority to them?
6'3" wow. Big zone runner. I've always loved the Shannahan rb scheme. Third round is about as early as you draft em. Got a nice stable of guys now with a clear first option in mostert and then three other guys who can all fill in as needed.

Are there anymore Treys in this draft?

Trey Smith, OG

Tre' McKitty, TE

Tre Brown, CB

Trey Hill, C

Tre Norwood, CB

Must draft all the Treys...

Trey snaps the ball to Trey. Hand off is to Trey who gets a great block from Trey. Touchdown 49ers!!!!!

Ok. This was dumb. Turner gets us starting quality udfa. We don't need to draft rb's. If he doesn't run 4.3 he's not touching the ball. Mostert hasty wilson will take us to the super bowl. This makes no sense based on we need another OL and edge since we will get zero snaps from ford this year.

Even Mike Shanahan spent earlier picks on RBs. Sometimes just having a guy that is passable like Wilson, just isn't enough. I'm not mad about this pick, Sermon is a great scheme fit and a monster in the open field.

This. While you can get by with guys like Olandis Gary, etc, its different when you get a talented player in there. If Mike had his pick between a Gary, Droughs, or Anderson and Clinton Portis, he's picking Portis. Id assume Kyle is the same.

I recognize it's always better to have a stud who knows what he's doing -- my point is we are a need-driven team team right now. Big holes to fill. We can't waste picks on nice-to-haves when compton and mcg are impersonating the turnstile twins and our $20m dollar investment at left edge can't roll over in bed without an application of morphine. We need meat and potatoes not creme brulet.

Probably going the meh defense route and see if you can outscore the offense route and control the clock game.

Then the 49ers win three consecutive Super Bowls...
Nice! I told you guys Kyle wanted a better back. This kid can take over!
I watched a bunch of his games at Oklahoma before he transferred, an absolute beast, I sometimes felt sorry for the would-be tacklers. Saw a couple of his games after he transferred, too. Can't speak to whether this was the best priority pick given other needs, but Sermon is legit, happy he's on our side.

edit to correct: Sorry I was confusing Sermon's running style with one of their other backs, Rhamondre Stevenson, who is truly a beast. Sermon is probably a better back than him but not as much of a bruiser, more of a slasher. Stevenson runs through people. I have family that is Sooner fans so I end up seeing a lot of their games, though I don't follow closely enough to keep the names straight.

He can bludgeon and frustrate the defense inside, and then Mostert can scoot by them for a 70 yard touchdown.

there were already 10 CBs taken in the draft at that point. And we still have a pick Coming up at 102

its kinda cool we got the third RB selected in the draft
