Where is waldo?
What a wasted pick. I'll trade him for a 5th if we can get it.
Thanks Kyle.

Thanks Kyle.

His running style isnt the typical Kyle RB style that has speed written all over it. He's more of a ground pounder that i think will be valuable in putting away teams in the 4th QTr with more dives and off tackle plays. I think thats why he was drafted. I think the fact that Mitchell is playing more than Trey is the fact that Moaterts speed was lost at the beginning of the season and Kyles bread and butter offensive run plays are the outside zone speed plays.

I agree with mayo when he said, once he picks up his pass blocking assignments and has Kyles confidence in his pass catching and pass route running abilities, he should play more.
Ohio State QB's and RB's seem to flame out a lot in the NFL.
Let's give this cat some time. Wilson superior back right now but Sermon will become useful. We go through RBs because we ask a lot of them. His time to shine will come.
I would have traded him for a 7th round pick at the deadline, personally.
Head scratcher to me. Just totally different scheme from where he came from. Hope the team can get some productivity from him moving forward.
Just don't understand why this guy is so low on the depth chart. I expected him to be higher than Wilson on the depth chart.

Why would you expect that if he couldn't beat out Mitchell in TC? If Mostert were healthy Sermon would've been inactive every week this season.
Not by any means giving up this early on Sermon. I liked what I saw from him at Ohio St. As he gets further acclimated to the NFL & this scheme, I want to see what he can do, how productive he can be.
Should get some snaps this next game.

He'd be a good backup to Mitchell.

I mean, as far as running backs go, Ezekiel Elliott, Eddie George, and JK Dobbins last year all say hi.

Heck, working on his eighth season and with 3 of those seasons of at least 900 yards rushing, Carlos Hyde hasn't "flamed out".

Justin Fields is also showing a tremendous amount of promise in Chicago as a QB.

Quite frankly, we could look at Trent Richardson, Glenn Coffee, TJ Yeldon, Bo Scarborough, etc and say Alabama RB's kind of suck in the NFL.

Or Matt Leinart, Matt Barkley, Cody Kessler, Sam Darnold and say USC QB's need to be avoided.

Just based on simple numbers the schools that place a ton of talent into the NFL are going to have a higher likelihood of "busts" because they're putting a higher number of players in the league. They're also going to have a higher likelihood perhaps of some superstars for the same reason.
