Should've just kept Chris Thompson on the practice squad or have at least one RB on the there.

Depends if the gameplan is to try to get 40 carries again. If that number isnt as important and we run, say 25 times, then Wilson can absolutely handle most of that.

Sermon has the size to be the lead block if we employ some of the same concepts we did against the Rams, but then again, the team may just use Juice more as the RB/FB. I think so far in limited action, one of the issues that stood out was pass blocking. That's a big part I think of why he's far behind everyone else on the team right now, despite his ability as a runner.

He will - he'll probably get the start over Wilson. Should be fun, he has to take advantage of this opportunity.

I feel like this kid is getting jobbed. I understand that KS has specifics to the RB in his offense but I feel like Sermon would be really good on a lot of other teams right now. Why isn't he getting playing time?

I mean his last "start" he had 19 carries for 89 yards…avg 4.8 per carry. I wouldn't call that meh.
I have no idea what the deal is with him.

The kid hasn't even played. How In the world can you have any kind of opinion of him? He has a ton of potential, he should be getting snaps.

I'm really interested in seeing how he's developing. In addition to pass blocking, I'd like to see his improvement in pass receiving -- hopefully they can run some pass plays and we can see how his hands and route running have developed.

From the small sample size he looked good.
