Agree, I think he's more suited for a power scheme.
Sermon looked really good out there today, that catch he had to get into FG range was great, he had some nice carries, kid just needs to keep developing, stop writing off players after 1yr, 2yrs, and especially 10 games.

Catch was nice, but didn't see much from him in his limited attempts. Not writing him off though

I know, just saying he looked good out there, he needs more time to develop, it's not his fault Mitchell is freaking fast, and Wilson is such a great rusher & catcher, I hope we keep Wilson in 2022.

Good as in handsome? Sure I guess? The catch was nice but it was nothing amazing. Any half decent RB, especially one drafted in the 3rd should be able to make that.

He was slow, indecisive, and went down fairly easily.

Not saying cut the guy, he might work out in time, but today he did not "look good".
he's pretty solid, no hate from me
Yeah, I don't agree at all with looking good. Most guys that end up good in this system are good from the get go. That's not the case with Sermon.

Trending towards another wasted day-2 pick.

He had a few solid carries and a big catch. I think he played fine.
He's not bad, he needs more carries. He's going to get better. Jags run d is solid so it's not like he was going against a poorly ranked run d

True. When It comes to the RB position, you either have It, or you don't.
That little check-down pass (end of the half) is something we never do. It's so great against the blitz.

I'm sure he's going to be a contributor and part of the rotation for the next few years, but yeah, doesn't seem like he was a great value in the 3rd round.
