Yeah, I don't agree at all with looking good. Most guys that end up good in this system are good from the get go. That's not the case with Sermon.

Trending towards another wasted day-2 pick.

RELAX. He's played a little in what 3 games.

Of all the positions , rookie RBs
usually do not require alot of learning time. Also based on the fact that alot of non names have thrived in this offense we should expect more.

Sermon looked really good out there today, that catch he had to get into FG range was great, he had some nice carries, kid just needs to keep developing, stop writing off players after 1yr, 2yrs, and especially 10 games.

He had two very good runs at the start of that drive in the 3rd quarter that began inside the 10. Drove the CB back about two yards on the first one. Second one he did a nice job staying behind his pads.

Just needs more time.
He will get better and more comfortable in the offense with more reps. I thought he did well today.
He'll be fine. Some guys just needed game experience to improve, he might be one of them.

I agree, too soon to give up on him. I like the fact that he seems to have good hands, in receiving-- which might be as or more important for Kyle in his system. He has some attributes of a power back, and i can see him doing some damage in more of a power blocking/inside zone game. It just doesn't seem he has the speed to run Kyles particular outside zone though.

That little check-down pass (end of the half) is something we never do. It's so great against the blitz.

We need to do this play much more often. Glad to see Sermon on the field

I mean, again I'm an Ohio State fan but at that said I can be objective to say maybe he busts.
But this is a guy that took a while to get going and get himself acclimated at Ohio State and people thought he was a bust there. Then he breaks the school record for rushing yardage in a game against Northwestern and runs all over Clemson as well.

And based on a very minimal amount of carries in the NFL people are already declaring him to be a wasted pick? Okay.

Good perspective. He has 3 more years.
I thought Sermon did OK, not spectacular, but OK. Jags do have a good run defense. If I am not mistaken, Sermon's yards per carry was higher then Wilson's.
He had a really good catch in there. I thought he did pretty well.

It was looking like Jimmy might've over threw him, but Sermon ran underneath it. Caught it like a WR. Good s**t.

Still doing a little too much dancing instead of hitting the hole hard like Mitchell has. He's getting better at that and his receiving skills are definitely apparent. Still a work in progress.

Yeah but that catch really impressed me. That was like a WR. I didn't expect that at all.

that was a catch that was expected to be made. Was a nice ball too by JG on that. Was nice to see him play some.
