Ok. This was dumb. Turner gets us starting quality udfa. We don't need to draft rb's. If he doesn't run 4.3 he's not touching the ball. Mostert hasty wilson will take us to the super bowl. This makes no sense based on we need another OL and edge since we will get zero snaps from ford this year.

Even Mike Shanahan spent earlier picks on RBs. Sometimes just having a guy that is passable like Wilson, just isn't enough. I'm not mad about this pick, Sermon is a great scheme fit and a monster in the open field.

This. While you can get by with guys like Olandis Gary, etc, its different when you get a talented player in there. If Mike had his pick between a Gary, Droughs, or Anderson and Clinton Portis, he's picking Portis. Id assume Kyle is the same.

I recognize it's always better to have a stud who knows what he's doing -- my point is we are a need-driven team team right now. Big holes to fill. We can't waste picks on nice-to-haves when compton and mcg are impersonating the turnstile twins and our $20m dollar investment at left edge can't roll over in bed without an application of morphine. We need meat and potatoes not creme brulet.

Probably going the meh defense route and see if you can outscore the offense route and control the clock game.

Defense looks solid save for the back end. Looked pretty good last year without several major players.

Nice! I told you guys Kyle wanted a better back. This kid can take over!

He can bludgeon and frustrate the defense inside, and then Mostert can scoot by them for a 70 yard touchdown.

Yup. He really came on as season went. We needed another back and had none on the roster after this season. Smart move.

nfc west adding speed and Kyle is adding bruisers. We are going to dominate the time of possession and wear teams down.

nah. that was a stats mirage. we couldn't win the downs we had to all season long. No pressure.
This is a good pick. Mostert cant stay healthy. We got a banger now

We get a 2 overall passion rusher back. Bosa is like a free draft pick every other year.. lol.. common Nick 14 years of no injury incoming

As I said..without several major players. Bosa is a closer. As was Ford. It wasn't likely we were gonna add what we really need (turnover producing DBs). Maybe they figure it would be easier to control games on offense as opposed to D.

Sermon is a great back, but RB should not be the priority in the 3rd when we need quality depth at CB, WR and TE. Whose gonna start at CB next year when Verrett, Williams and Moseley leave; and we have no No. 1 and 3 picks?

there were already 10 CBs taken in the draft at that point. And we still have a pick Coming up at 102

its kinda cool we got the third RB selected in the draft

4th, right?
I love his size - 6 foot and 215lbs. I thought he was a stud in college. He is the type of back that we are missing in this offense. Him and Mostert should be a really nice combo.

it's very clear that KS is fed up with injuries. As good as some are you can't trust them to play 17 reg games.

Tired of these Breida, Mostert types who have tons of talent but are glass canons. Keeping my fingers crossed on Sermon, because he could be a beast in a Shanahan offense... also, we have struggled with short yardage gains, and he and Galman can resolve that.

Except Sermon couldn't stay health, either.
