Lost Mostert
Sermon on IR can return
Hasty has been out multiple games
Mitchell has a broken finger
Wilson Jr out for many games
Cannon is healthy but only special teams

Sermon isn't a bust. Too soon to get that status. He had to be taken where he did in the draft. That's why the draft is a crapshoot. It's where you think players are valued by other teams, as well as your own.

Sometimes you get an Aaron Jones in the 5th and a Jerrick McKinnon in the 3rd.

Just based on this year so far, sometimes you get an Elijah Mitchell in the 6th and a Trey Sermon in the 3rd.

Im believe Sermon has been battling minor issues all year. It's tough enough to come in as a rookie and play well when you're healthy but if you have injuries it's twice as hard.

Exactly. This system eats through RB/OL like no other. You need to be incredibly deep and versatile in both.

If a Jimmy G. trade ever happens, first thing I'd do with the draft capital would be either use that for a talented DE to bookcase next to Bosa, or trade down that pick for more lower round picks (possibly in the 5th round ) and just get more depth at OLine and RB.

I think if we trade Jimmy for even a 2nd we have to go with a DB.

They draft is a 'best guess". I think Arden Key was a high draft pick for the Raiders and he never did anything there, and now years later after he busted for them he's doing something with us at mid round talent levels. We had Verrett a 1st round talent in a damaged FA body. Ford=damaged.
We need to draft reliable safe picks in
i would go DB first especially since we're not developing our latest pair of DBs.
What's hurt? His feelings?

Yeah, I'd like a good solid DB in the early rounds myself in 2022.

Conversely - what they did with Lemonier and Hufanga - could work also. Devote top of the line draft capital to the trenches (OLine/DLine) and devote multiple lower round picks on one position - the DB position. I'll take one out of three - if they are all 5th or 6th round picks and two bust, but one is a good player. They really have been doing well in the later rounds (example 5th round) consistently these past couple of drafts - that's why I think that strategy might also work.

Yeah, I think he has not been healthy all season.

Probably never recovered from his 1 play vs Alabama

Had to fix this already sheesh
Looks like he may be back this week. If Mitchell can't go he could help Wilson carry the load.

Yup that's what Kyle confirmed in his presser today.

Cool, they need extra guys to warm seats and hold clipboards.

MAIN reason why we traded up for the guy !! lol
Didn't activate him today. Mitchell is questionable. I guess we get Wilson and his 3.8 yards per carry.
