and in the meantime allow 1-2 TDs a game and lose directly as a result of him playing? Hell no.
ALLOW??
You've not seen the kid play or start since last year, and you say this?
GUAPO !! if you see Ambry this weak, then CUT him already !! WHY HOLD ON TO THE GUY?
I may not have seen him since last year but according to the coaches and in practice (who's ahead of him) it looks like demo and Womack and basically everyone passed him in training camp. If you read the practice reports you would see that he was being beat more than any of our corners on the roster. I hope he gets better but I'm not so sure it would be worth the risk putting him out there
JUST my opinion... some players just suck in practice.. then they happen to be GAME DAY type of guys.. but my point is, since we hurtin at the corner, put the guy in there and see what he can do.. if he sucks, then let him go..
This is why I think KS10 sucks as a HC.. he continues to sign useless bums, then allow them to play but yet, he wont give our young guys the same chances..
"I read ya……so you're saying there's a chance"

Besides the penalty giving the Rams a first and goal and a new set of downs right? He's a worse version of Witherspoon so far and I'm scared every time he's on the field

Double edged sword. You do have to play a guy to know if he can, well… PLAY. At the same time you have to take into account if you put him in and he can't cover, that you risk giving away a close game. This is why HCs make the big $$$. Finding a happy medium between these two questions is tough.
One would think that in practice HC/GM would know whether a guy like Ambry can cover, can be trusted. Since his play has been spotty, it makes it hard to know is he worth it…or not. It's a tricky deal when you are risking giving away a game to get the guy playing time. But when you have nobody else, due to injuries, it gets a lot easier to make the decision.

I don't love him either, but he showed a lot last year. Where the heck did it go.

We need more games up to our potential that way we can play Thomas more with huge leads. My thoughts are the rookies have surpassed him. Hopefully he can put it together.

No surprise that he and Lenoir both started to play better with more reps. Hopefully with JV trying to get back, it pushes them even harder to up their game.

I don't think they're gonna play.
Keenan Allen (hamstring) will not play Week 9 against the Falcons.
This is not a surprise after he sat out the entire week of practice. Allen said the hamstring injury that kept him out from Week 2 to Week 6 got worse during the bye week, so it is possible he will miss more games moving forward. With Mike Williams (ankle) expected to miss a month, Josh Palmer should be the primary target out wide with Gerald Everett checking in as a solid TE1 for fantasy purposes.
The Athletic's Daniel Popper reports Mike Williams is expected to miss at least four weeks.
This lines up with Chargers coach Brandon Staley saying Williams will miss "weeks not days." It's possible the Chargers place Williams on injured reserve. Keenan Allen returned last week but was still limited, playing on just 32 percent of the team's snaps. With LA getting their bye this week, Allen should be closer to full strength for the team's Week 9 game against the Falcons. He will be a strong WR2 option once healthy. DeAndre Carter and Josh Palmer will play larger roles in the offense with Williams sidelined.

Hope this kid is ready to elevate his game going forward. Needs to make plays on the ball, seems to almost always be in position on plays. We need all the help we can get with Verrett going down now

Neither of which are expected to play. Chargers are really hurting at WR.
