Moore has barely played tackle in the NFL in fact, how many snaps has he played in in his entire career thus far?

It absolutely plays a part, the league thinks he's worth that which shows how s**tty the OL play is across the board….have some perspective

Then the 49ers should give him 15 million..... right? Pay the man!

Everyone knew this league is filled with poor offensive lineman, That's not what I told you so moment haha. No way we keep Moore but he did very poorly except this last year, so I'm not too worried about that. We will get a good comp pick

Everyone b***hed about how bad our OL is calling it one of the worst in the league, yet our swing tackle is gonna make $15M per and start somewhere else.

It also shows that our OL coach is pretty damn good at what he does.

Yes a poor metric indeed. we see bad guards and other people get overpaid every year
Mid teens on a multi-year deal? WTF? I didn't see anything that said he's a multi-year, mid teens millions Tackle, but good for him, this will be the time that average players get overpaid.

Mike McGlinchey did it and it doesn't get much worse than that.

Um... Mcglinchey was a top 10 pick, a team captain, a five year starter at RT and a very good run blocker. Trash in pass pro but he's a nfl starter caliber tackle and everyone knew there'd be teams wanting him as a starter.

Jaylon Moore is none of those things. He has had like what, less than ten starts and looked pretty bad at RT every time he had to start there.

Entrusting Moore to be your starting left tackle and paying him 15+ million is pure insanity to me

He shouldn't have been a top ten pick no more than T. Lance should have been a top three pick.

He didn't play any snaps at RT this year, all LT(259) and seems he played well in those snaps according to PFF.

Maybe they pay him all that money to play left tackle? 😂

Okay but whats your point ?
Lance isnt a starter. McGlinchey is. Denver gave him a large second contract. People in the league value a strong run blocking tackle who sucks at pass pro more than 49er fans, cool.

hey if someone gives him 15m per year guaranteed to play LT, I would only be happy because we'll get a comp pick for him

I will also monitor his situation closely because Im not a believer

Yeah I remember it too, it was horrible lol...maybe he's improved from that year and more comfy at LT who knows lol, but he did play well in the limited snaps this year.
