Every year many in this forum including me wants him to be cut. I guess we were wrong. He must have been a super backup swing T for the Niners, and now he is likely going to be the Chiefs' starting LT.

You are underrating Moore. Though he did not play a lot of snaps, his 75 PFF rating showed him equally good in PP and RBlk. Overall, that would put him in the top 25 of all OTs. KC got a good young talent. Our loss.
$15M is a lot of money, but that is the market price, and it will rise.
Agree. Nice post.
We could have signed him to a very small extension last year. We can't let these guys reach F/a if we want to keep them.

At this time last year, he hadn't played enough to show his ability. Trent had received all the play.
Welcome to salary cap hell.

Hate to lose him, but OL must be high on the draft wish list this year. Otherwise, the 49ers would have done more to keep him.

Jaylon Moore is not that good. LOL CHEATS. Gonna protect Mahomes blind side. Sure, sure. They haven't been watching him as much as we do.

Chiefs and Andy Reid don't really sign too many busts.
They have three rings, two against us. So they must know something we don't know about Moore.

Moore was solid, but this just shows how desperate teams for a modicum of mediocrity at OL.

Im eating crow and waffles for breakfast. Tastes like chicken.
15m per for Moore and a boatload of cash for Kinlaw. What is this world.

Why would he or any ascending player lose money by signing an extension? Makes no sense. They all want to hit free agency and make big money.

We didn't let T. Williams, Deebo, B.A, or CMC hit free agency.
Re-sign these guys before F/A by negotiating earlier.

He better step up his holding technique.

Our 2020 and 2021 draft looks a lot better now, at least from the scout department perspective. They may not have contributed much to our team but that is not necessarily our scouts' fault. Kinlaw isn't a bust and they found a starting OT in the 5th round.
Perhaps we should not be too harsh on Colton McKivitz. He is way underpaid.

They will have him work on legal false start as well.
