Agree. Nice post.
We could have signed him to a very small extension last year. We can't let these guys reach F/a if we want to keep them.
At this time last year, he hadn't played enough to show his ability. Trent had received all the play.
Welcome to salary cap hell.

Up to $15. It'll likely be $10 minimum, $12-$13 blended. While that does seem a lot, let's assume the Chiefs signed him for $8-$10 a couple of years ago. That would seem more reasonable. However, given the salary cap changes, both contracts would be 3%-4% of the cap either way.
This is why I don't overreact to the contract numbers as the headlines are largely overstated and the raw numbers need to be relative to the salary cap.
Best of luck to him.

This is why we must build and maintain a team via the draft and avoid FA.

Insane money for a guy that is average at best. Just goes to show the lack of OL talent in the NFL.
You are underrating Moore. Though he did not play a lot of snaps, his 75 PFF rating showed him equally good in PP and RBlk. Overall, that would put him in the top 25 of all OTs. KC got a good young talent. Our loss.
$15M is a lot of money, but that is the market price, and it will rise.
Agree. Nice post.

You don't play much behind TW. When he did play this year, he did very well.
EDIT: In the past two years, Moore allowed only two sacks in 279 snaps, per The Athletic.

I am more than happy to watch Moore block Mahomes blindside.
