can not wait for wilson to come back.. maybe then we can use the backs in the pass game
Mitchell had some big time runs yesterday. Especially late in the game, man those runs were angry and got some huge chunk yards. Very excited about him.
Makes you think why did they even draft Sermon. Love this kids game! Keep feeding him!!

it'll be interesting what they do with Mostert next year who'll be a 30 year old UFA with an injury history

I would put Mostert in either the rear view mirror or switch him to a 3rd down role like they're using Hasty. Mostert has proved he can't be an every down back with his injuries.
Dude is a stud. too bad they wasted the 3rd round pick on Sermon. This kid is legit.

I'm going to pretend Mitchell was the 3rd rounder and Sermon was the 6th. Ahhh much better.

nope. mostert >>mitchell. Mostert is a cheetah. He runs shannys oz like no one since shanny got here. He faster amd reads the play idea better than mitchell who is a rookie.

Would love Mostert back but money has got to be right. He is crazy talented and probably the best fit to Shanahan's run game but we cant shell out alot of money to him with his injury background and s stable of young hungry RBs

Ha! Good idea.
Proud of this young man. 6th round pick to balling out on Sundays in his rookie year. Props to the FO for a good pick!

I wish we would try to shop Sermon. Even if we got a 6th round pick back. He is useless on this team. Mitchell does everything better.

Next year Mostert will still want starter money and Mitchell wont be a rookie anymore. On a perfectly blocked play, Mostert > Mitchell currently... but running through traffic Mitchell has already shown he's > Mostert. Mostert falls over when anyone taps his shoelaces.

Would prefer to have both... but if people want to spend big money on FAs then Mostert wont be back unless he accepts a bargain basement deal. Based on his negotiation history, thats unlikely.

Tried that and didn't work because of the plethora of good players available that we could've took instead, and the fact that it wasn't just a 3rd given up, we traded up
