I thought he was going to be really good in the NFL but things just didn't work out for him.

What's wrong with that?
This is a good cheap veteran signing and he can be our slot at least until somebody else emerges or he gets injured again. He's very solid and he can return punts and kickoff's. We must remember he did very well on Jacksonville considering he had Blake Bortles and Company throwing to him or shall I say not throwing to him accurately.

This. Sounds like we were looking for young cheap options to fill the WR room trying to trade for Hamilton before his injury

JJ Stokes
From Barrows article today. Good to hear

Lee, 29, is a former second-round pick by the Jaguars. His best season came in 2016 when he caught 63 passes for 851 yards in Jacksonville. He suffered a gruesome injury to his left knee during the 2018 preseason, didn't play that season and was available for only a handful of games in 2019 before going on injured reserve with a shoulder injury. He opted out last season but appears to be at full strength this year.

Because those types don't tend to fit Shanny's system. For years I've been banging the drum for a physical big-body, even before Shanny. But Shanny really favors the speedier, shiftier WR's who can run fluid routes. Those don't tend to come with the physician big-bodies, they tend to be smaller WR's. Sure we've drafted big-bodies, but I contend that those are John Lynch late round flyers. Look at the WR's we've drafted early vs. the ones we've drafted late.

Hurd is an outlier, but if he's healthy he'll be that redzone threat.
Never understood the fascination on here with adding "tall" wrs as if it's 100% guaranteed they're catching that jump ball in the end zone. I've been here since like 08 and every year it's the same thing
