"If you're sober, why do you care if I drive drunk? Your seat belts and air bags works"
That's how stupid it sounds.

Roberts Malones opinion and his contribution is subject to debate as he did not invent the vaccine. He provided the platform for inject into cells on mice. That was in 1989. Much further development of the mRNA has obviously taken place since.
Perception of the level of trust with the government from a medical standpoint most certainly varies by life experience which includes race.
Robert Malone's opinion is not subject to debate, as there is currently a lot of misinformation as to who he is and his contributions. It is far more than just the platform to inject. Here are his list of patents:

That could be view multiple ways. He is pretty far removed from todays vaccine. That is why one should not just rely on one persons opinion to form a decision and then decide there is something nerfarious is going on. Thats called manipulation.
Again, think outside your bubble. The CDC is not a world governing body. The world is moving forward with vaccination with their own independent approvals and alot of countries are using the same type of vaccination which really has nothing to do with the US and past history. The proof is in the pudding.

Everything I've seen says people that have had the virus don't have as much immunity as people that are vaccinated. They recommend that they still get the shot. Immunity wanes after they've had the virus. Tests show that immunity lasts longer in vaccinated people. People that test positive may develop a lot or just a small amount of immunity depending on how much of the virus they have. The Phizer and Moderna vaccines are still about 60-70% effective against the Delta variant. Breakthrough cases are usually ver y mild and fairly rare.

I never stated anything nefarious is going (I don't believe that) on nor did I state that I formed my opinion based solely on one expert's opinions (I haven't), nor am I thinking inside any sort of bubble. There are multiple vaccines with varying degrees of risk, and varying global bodies have decided to move forward without a full vesting or understanding of immediate, mid, or short term effects. Most of the concerns themselves are really not with the mRNA technologies but the accompanying spike proteins which disrupts the cooperative function of human cardiac pericytes in some people.
For the record, my wife has been vaccinated which I support and I have not done so yet due to testing positive to the original Covid strain back in February so my body has the defensive components in the T and B cells. I'm simply stating that the data is incomplete and it is completely respectable that people are voicing concerns regarding a new medical technology which is currently being introduced to the population at large as we speak.
Those who have serious concerns about the currently available mRNA synthetic vaccines with spike proteins or non-mRNA synthetic vaccines with spike proteins should be aware that there is an alternative vaccine which is in the final stages of trials being produced by Valneva. If approved it will be the first Covid vaccine created utilizing traditional vaccine technology which is the whole non-synthetic, deactivated virus.
Alternative already exists......Astra Zeneca but the US government is really slow too approve for some reason.......

The Astrazeneca is not mRNA but it does contain a synthetic spike protein. Its not a traditional whole deactivated virus.

People should get vaccinated as a precautionary measure but actual immunity in healthy adults lasts considerably longer than initially believed. A recent study suggests that its at least 13 months and its likely a lot longer With SARS, a closely related coronavirus, an immune response was still detectable 15 years after the initial infection. Other studies have indicated that its at least 9 months, even if you just had a mild case. Confirmed, symptomatic reinfections are also extremely rare. Which is good news as a combination of vaccinated+naturally immune+naturally immune and vaccinated should help limit the spread of the virus.

Janssen/Johnson and Johnson is the alternative and its been approved for awhile. Its similar to AZ in its use of a deactivated adenovirus as the delivery method, something that the Soviets were using way back in the 50s, its definitely not new technology.
In any case, this thread has drafted quite a bit from its original topic so I'm going to close it down. If people want to further discuss Covid, there's already multiple threads in the Parking Lot. Lets consolidate the Covid/vaccine discussion there. If anything further NFL related pops up, just put it in the news thread.
