I think Kyle said at the beginning that the starters would play in game 3. The Chargers coach said Herbert wouldn't play at all in pre season. I'm not sure I agree with that approach but I guess he feels he gets enough work in practice.

I always treat Game 1's as unpredictable. Teams have ample time to prepare. Some teams start preparing the first week of preseason and they have that one game blowout. Then regular prep time begins week 2 and they look like they were supposed to look like.

ehh there's a huge talent discrepancy between the Niners and Lions. the Lions and Eagles defensive units are terrible. it'll be a huge failure if the Niners don't start 2-0

I'm finally getting around to watching the last Bears game and can't get past how much their announcer sounds like Matt Maiocco.
Second week in a row I've seen the Bill's Rousseau get a sack. Bears OL is doing their best to make the Bill's D look good.
