Pretty similar in terms of statistical numbers for Cam and Mac in the first half

Each only had two possessions with one ending for both with a Field goal.

Cam Newton 4/7 49 Yards
Mac Jones 5/8 44 Yards

Obviously, this doesn't count the 35 yard dropped pass that should have been a TD for Mac.

Mac played better IMO. But as others have said. that is not saying much. WIll be interesting to see if Mac plays in the second half.

NE offense on paper looks horrible could be a long season for the pats. LT is a major problem

A lot of underneath stuff on that drive. But that is what the Patriots do.

Not a suprise, he did a lot of that in college. Giving him what he's comfortable with for first exposure is not a bad thing, even if it is dink and dunk

Looks like they gave Mac the 2 minute drill offense to start the 3rd because they couldn't do in the 2nd.

I expect alot of that during the season because they don't really have that #1 WR. I am not even sure they have a #2 WR. Bourne to us was a #3 guy and right now he is battling for the #1 spot with the Pats. The TE's will be the Pats biggest targets.
