I wonder if he'd consider letting someone else call plays and maybe bringing in a guy like Mike Kafka from KC to be the OC.
I wouldn't pencil in Harbaugh to Miami.

And their owner and Harbaugh are big Michigan buddies...

If I'm Harbaugh, it'd be hard to turn down Chicago. Its the team that drafted him, traditionally the Bears have that built-in Midwestern ground and pound football mentality that aligns with him so well. Plus there's a potential young franchise QB in Fields, talented RB's, some very good players on defense and Fangio already knows quite a few of them. Grab Vic, Donatell, Jim Leavitt and start putting the band back together.

On the other hand, the Raiders are where he got his NFL coaching start, they're already a playoff team, have a lot of key spots on the roster filled and he could probably more easily hit the ground running there.

Watch Harbs bring in Alex Smith as a QB coach.

And Frank Gore as a RB. Bring the whole squad back together.

Makes the firing of Flores even more puzzling

Flores wasn't willing to have Deshaun Watson as his QB so they fired him so they can trade for Watson. Is a possibility I can think of.

He should hand over the offense to someone else. Because there are more guys better than him at it. Or maybe he hasn't learned from his stint with the Niners.

I thought Tua doing a good job. Lots of potential. He needs more time and consistency.

harbaugh did a great job here

he was fired because the 49ers had to choose between harbaugh and baalke and we chose baalke a decision i was against from when it happened

I think Tua is a limited QB much in the way Jimmy G is. Not a bad QB but not going to elevate a team to another level. Watson despite all his off field s**t is an elite QB and if you can weather the storm of bad PR for trading for him you will have a great QB for the next 5-10 years.

His struggles with bringing in good assistants was the head scratcher. Maybe it was just bad timing? There was some sloppiness to coaching decisions in-game as well this year.

A number of good OC/DC candidates available this cycle from the HC purges. I like him and hopefully things line up with a stable organization.
I have reservations about Harbaugh's long-term staying power but why would he and the Bears not want to give it a try especially with Fangio being available? He might wear out his welcome after four or five years, but it could really be an exciting run for the Bears. Fields is the perfect Harbaugh vessel... good enough to not really need a QB whisperer but perceived as raw enough that Harbaugh's ego can take credit.

i think he did the most with the least talent you could make a legit case for coach of the year

i think he may actually be the top HC canidate on the market now

Watson was only considering Miami because of Flores.
Welp looks like it might be a good year if one needs a Defensive Coordinator.
