Certainly possible. Hard to imagine he gets the call over Bienemy or Leftwich though.

Staley got the call over Bieniemy last year.

I think the love for Bieniemy is higher in the NFL media than it is in actual NFL circles. You have an OC that doesn't call plays, who is working for a top tier offensive HC on an offense that has incredible talent and there's really no way to tell just how good he is and how much he's contributing.

Leftwich is a whole other matter since he's a former QB and now an OC who does call plays for a very successful offense, even if its one featuring the GOAT but he also had success calling plays for Jameis Winston.

KS had this problem and left to HOU to forge his own reputation away from MS

I thought he was in Houston before he was with his dad- and was very successful on his own with Schaub, Slaton, Andre Johnson, etc. Andre Johnson had his best years in terms of productivity.
hopefully we can keep DeMeco Ryans and Adam peters for a few more seasons

DeMeco won't be considered this year seriously. Next year if he continues on this path though.. I'm surprised I hadn't heard about Peters getting an interview with one of the two GM spots yet.

This is what I'm thinking. He's very young and it's his first year in the role. Just go to our Ryans thread in October to get a vibe of what was going on then. I think his transformation this year has been tremendous he's grown game by game. He's probably on the radar it may just take a year or two more like this.

A deep playoff run is going to definitely put him in the early conversation.

Said earlier I hope we give Flores a call. If he isn't hired this cycle, he's likely gone in a year (as a head coach), but our secondary would benefit greatly. And perhaps one of our defensive assistants can be groomed to take over.

Alright alright... since everyone's PMing me left and right about being right all along w/KYLE not being a quality HC and is nothing but a GOOD OC... now I have to go public and tell you guys who I think will be a GREAT HC here that can compete w/the NEW WAVE of coaches around the league...

Since Cris Petersen is retired, I won't include his name here..

But below would be my coaching team for next year...

HC - PJ Fleck;
DC - Mike Zimmer or Brian Flores (whichever one is available)

Lol just lol

Dolphins should have kept Flores for 1 more year. Bad move IMO. Team didn't live up to expectations but I'm curious how much say he had in personnel decisions. The GM supposedly kept his job.
Dolphins fans are losing it over Flores being fired. Reading tons of comments saying its a horrible move. Very curious if Jacksonville gives him a call.

Not sure that any competent head coach would consider the Jaguars HC job while Baalke is the GM…

stay away!

Adam Peters accepts job. Immediately trades Saquan Barkley, Azeez Ojulari, Xavier McKinney, Andrew Thomas and James Bradbury to the 49ers for Mike McGlinchey. Gets fired immediately after this move and then gets rehired by John Lynch.
