Vic Fangio is apparently desperate enough to remain a HC, that he's willing to overlook that Trent passed him over for a DL coach when he would've delivered our HC as his OC.

And then Shanahan would have gone elsewhere to be HC and now we'd be fighting over Eberflus and Flores.
It all worked out as it should.
And really the Jaguars could be interviewing Fangio as the top candidate for DC that Leftwich has on his wishlist.

My understanding is they are hiring Leftwich with Fangio running the D. This would be a home run on all fronts.
