The Bears fired Ryan Pace, replaced him with Ryan Poles.

They fired Matt Nagy, replaced him with Matt Eberflus.

At least the any first name nameplates can still remain the same.

Hey nameplate changes can get expensive.

Vic Fangio is apparently desperate enough to remain a HC, that he's willing to overlook that Trent passed him over for a DL coach when he would've delivered our HC as his OC.

And then Shanahan would have gone elsewhere to be HC and now we'd be fighting over Eberflus and Flores.

It all worked out as it should.

And really the Jaguars could be interviewing Fangio as the top candidate for DC that Leftwich has on his wishlist.

Lol if they end up with Baalke and Fangio I'd feel very sorry for the Jags and their golden boy QB.

Did you just not read any of what was posted or what?

Wilson has been hired to be the next GM of the Jaguars, Leftwich is set to be HC and Fangio was apparently interviewed to be his DC.
Denver has to be going all in after Rodgers right?

The Bears hire is a bad one IMO. I don't get why they wouldn't want to hire a offensive coach for Fields.

I am surprised Quinn is staying.

It's the biggest mistake a franchise can make in regard to a young QB. If that QB is good he can look forward to an ever-changing carousel of OC's and potentially systems as his OC's get hired away to be HC's. If the HC is an offensive guy then he forces the same system year after year and provides a stable base for the most important position on the team. It just makes strategic sense.

My understanding is they are hiring Leftwich with Fangio running the D. This would be a home run on all fronts.

Why is everyone so high on Leftwich? What has he really done? Coached up Brady and an offense that had Gronk, Fournette, Godwin, Mike Evans, and Antonio Brown? I don't get the hype.

And one image burned into me is Brady yelling at the sideline early this season because he didn't like the play and called his own play which sealed the game.

Has Wilson actually been hired though?

"Close" is all I've seen. Certainly sounds like it's happening, though.

Damn Adrian Wilson as GM and Byron Leftwich as GM is weird after growing up watching both of them play. Then again we have our own Former safety turned GM as well. Let's hope they shape up the culture up in Jax. I don't want to see Trevor ruined my mismanagement.

He had plenty of success before Brady got there. He's a former NFL QB that had been slowly moving his way up the coaching ranks. Maybe he'll be a good HC, maybe not but he's certainly highly qualified.

Adrian Wilson is the guy that took out Leftwich's knee one year.

Its like hiring Aeneas Williams to work with Steve Young.

He's waiting for Jones to fire McCarthy mid-season and he gets the job.

He was the OC when they had 5000 yards with Winston at QB. He has an up close and personal view of greatness in Tom and BA. He played with the Jags knows the franchise and the city. He's an ex-first round draft pick NFL QB, and was a big QB who would be ideal for mentoring T. Lawrence. Right now the Jags need to make sure they get the most out of their QB investment, and he checks that box. Makes sense on a lot of levels and probably should have happened a year ago.
