Also, you should do firings earlier on so people have a better chance at landing with another team. It just seems like a dick move to me. There is a reason the Jags are in the spot they are in year after year.

Wilson has been hired to be the next GM of the Jaguars, Leftwich is set to be HC and Fangio was apparently interviewed to be his DC.
Has Wilson actually been hired though?
"Close" is all I've seen. Certainly sounds like it's happening, though.

The Bears hire is a bad one IMO. I don't get why they wouldn't want to hire a offensive coach for Fields.
I am surprised Quinn is staying.
He's waiting for Jones to fire McCarthy mid-season and he gets the job.
And then gets fired himself when J Jones hires S Payton in 2023, lol

Notable for eliminating possible college ripples in Vegas. https://t.co/1Jhzqoo8Mv

Raiders requested today a head coach interview with Patriots' offensive coordinator Josh McDaniels, per league source. McDaniels now expected to interview with the Raiders.

If the Raiders and Josh McDaniels get a deal done to make him the next Las Vegas HC, a potential OC replacement in New England could be former Patriots' assistant Bill O'Brien.

Maybe because they are going to let Josh McDaniels pick their GM. Been reports that McDaniels wants a lot of power within an organization if they want to hire him. Seems like this has a really good chance of happening. Raiders have been awfully quiet for having probably the best open coaching job available, considering they have the best QB situation out of all the teams searching.

I posted in the tweets above. Raiders interviewed Dave Ziegler from New England personnel department. I think things are aligning where this is becoming more and more realistic for McDaniels to go to the raiders.

I'd be funny if he pulled a repeat of the Colts situation.

AFC West could suddenly become a lot more interesting interesting.
Mahomes and Reid in KC.
Rodgers possibly in Denver.
McDaniels in LV.
Hot shot young DC and Herbert in SD/LA.

Outside of him getting the mantle to New England one day in the near future if Belichick steps away with a young Mac Jones, I think the raiders is a good situation for him. Carr is a top notch QB and they have enough players on both sides of the ball to stay competitive.

They still play in Vegas. The young rich and famous lifestyle there has already cost them.

It is a great situation for anyone really. Even if Carr Turns out not to be the answer you can still shop him later on for picks and draft a guy. Lots of talent on that team. The only problem with the Raiders as another poster mentioned is that division. I think it is the second toughest division behind the NFC West. And In the years ahead it could become the toughest.

McDaniels can't win unless he cheats
These moves will keep the dumpster fire of an Org hot

So I just read that if the Dolphins hire Mike McDaniel as HC, then we would get 2 3rd round picks. Anyone know if this is true? I thought it applies only for minority hires??
