I will always love him and would like to cheer for him, but not on an NFC team the Niners maybe competing for seeding with or playing an important game against.
Harbaugh is a great coach, but if Kyle is our guy, I'd have absolutely no fear of Harbaugh in an important game. If the talent level is anywhere close or we have more talent, plus our game planning, we win.

Honestly, if Minnesota knew what's good for them, they would hire Ryans and cancel their interview with Harbaugh. I say that because Ryans would most likely keep the offense intact or bring on an OC from the Shanahan tree. And Ryans would not come with baggage that Harbaugh does, huge ego and crap attitude. I was hoping Ryans would take over once Shanahan left but in no way does that look possible.

Harbs would be doing pirouettes and throwing papers on the sideline claiming our usage of Deebo within the offense is illegal.

Raiders are expected to hire former Patriots' OC Josh McDaniels as their head coach, per sources. Two sides still are finalizing the contract, but McDaniels is their man.

If Harbs made the playoffs with Alex Smith as QB I'm pretty sure he can make it with Kirk Cousins. Would need a good team around him but most QBs do.
Kirk "folds like a lawn chair in big moments" cousins? Doesn't matter who's the HC with Kirky

Until he backs out at the last second and leaves his newly-hired staff scrambling…

Nice pull Raiders. Hopefully they give KC all they can handle.

All true but Harbaugh is an experienced HC at several places. Ryans has never been a HC and has very limited coaching experience period. He could be great but it's always a big chance when you hire a novice HC. Look how many good coordinators from good coaching trees have failed as a HC. It's a big jump in responsibility for anyone let alone a guy that has one year as a DC.
If I was Ryans I wouldn't take a HC job yet. It's too soon. Do the interviews and then gain a little more experience so you have a better chance at receiving. Josh McDaniels tried it too soon and failed. He's just now getting hired as the Raiders HC after going back to NE for awhile.

That is a talented team but they were just in the playoffs so expectations are going to be high. And that could turn out to be a Brutal Division in the years to come. Mahomes and the Chiefs, Herbert and the Chargers, and possibly Rodgers and the Broncos. They could find themselves at the bottom of that division pretty quickly.
