The texts are like something you see in a comedy. BB basically gives congrats on the new job to Brian Flores thinking he is texting Brian Daboll. Flores at first is excited but bewildered. Ultimately BB has to say look I effed this up they are hiring someone else. Flores is just like thanks coach.

That said let's not lob accusations of bad faith. Could it be that the Giants were impressed completely with Daboll and leaning that way but yet to make up their mind? Would it be a violation to hire Daboll? There is no requirement to hire a minority coach just to interview which they did, correct? I mean it's almost like you would need a text from the Giants that says we the NY Giants feel Flores is the best candidate but we are not hiring him due to race. Anything short of that it would be hard to demonstrate the Giants are engaged in hiring discrimination. That said I don't feel the Giants should have fired Judge or hired Daboll and the Phins certainly shouldn't have fired Flores imo. Flores would be a better fit for NY they have won with defensive coaches in the past.

The whole lawsuit is based on racism. One of the first things in the lawsuit states they are filing it on the first day of black history month.

My fear is that Flores is "blackballing" himself from an NFL job ala Kap, but shame on these owners if these allegations are true.

I remember ten years ago when we signed Harbaugh and Ross bought the fins, he tried to snag him away last minute. Everyone then told me that guy was a POS.

Yeah he can file a lawsuit based on racism just saying it would be hard to demonstrate the Giants are indeed acting in a racist fashion, unless you have a text or some proof to that effect.

With a bunch of old white billionaires, it's hard not to expect a lot of bigoted and racists in higher up circles. I really hope nothing ever pops up against the niners. But so far nothing, even during Kaps kneeling situation.

I hope McDaniels doesn't go to Miami.

Now I know why demeco said no to the vikings. Harbaugh already has the job. Good for him to decline.

What's wild is BB inadvertently roped himself into this whole legal proceeding. This could get to a point where BB is in a courtroom having to answer where he got the info that the Giants are hiring Daboll prior to interviewing Flores.
