Surprising and I wonder why. Seems like a pretty good gig and sounded like he was ready to leave Michigan.

This doesn't really involve us much but I was kind of excited to see Harbaugh back in the NFL.

Imagine Seattle fires carrol and gets Harbaugh

Meh, I'd see that as a downgrade.

like the Raiders, the Vikings didnt want the guy. maybe fans here and some in the media overestimated the market for him. or maybe he has a reputation within the NFL.

Well he has the personality of a cheese grater (maybe that's why he had pretty good success against the Packers ).

Harbaugh would never follow Carrol. There's a deep dislike there.

9 hours and no offer. I wonder what's up with that? I mean he was wildy successful with us and clearly his last season was baalkes fault.

Kwesi already knows him from overlap here so perhaps he didn't make a great impression on ownership.

i think Niner fans overrate the guy but that's just me. Jim will always be the 🤡 who failed to give Frank Gore a chance to win the 2012 Super Bowl from the 5 yard line in my mind.

Kap actually had just Ray Lewis in front of him and could have ran it in. He was determined to complete that pass to Crabs.

Epic play-calling fail for sure.

If indeed O'Connell gets the job, it's just someone else that Kwesi formed a connection to while here ( as easy to forget as the Chip Kelly year was lol).

Chip Kelly saw something in him.

He wants too much power or wants to shoehorn his guys into power. Probably demanded Mike Lombardi be Assistant GM.

It's why he's not back in the NFL. Wants a puppet GM who he can tell what to do.

If this is indeed true, then he should just stay in college forever. It's rare when a college coach succeeds in the NFL. Most are used to having all the power and coaching up 18-23 year Olds is a lot different than 26+.

Who's the Dave Culley of this coaching cycle?

That's probably who Jax will end up with unless Baalke decides to coach them himself.

True story, Khan asked a candidate for his opinion on Trent while he was in the interview room. That went well.....
