Not sure why the laughing face. I mean he actually coached the Saints this year when Payton was out. They shut out Tom Brady. That kind of stuff gets peoples attention. Figured he would be a real candidate this cycle.

Just another recycled coach. He'll be fired in a year or two.

Now go ahead and say the same thing about Lovie Smith. We'll wait lol.

The NFL just goes through too many coaches too fast. Short of neolithic incompetence, give guys 4 years. Sometime's its not just about firing your HC, but also when you fire your HC. There were not 9 great candidates out there shining and in most of these cases, can we honestly say the head coach was THE problem?

Why do you think he got hired?

Do you think this was best for the Texans long term?
Again this is all just a joke to yall... but it was a joke for yall 5 years ago as well.

If Flores didn't bring up this issue...

If any team had a choice between Brian Flores and Lovie Smith of 2022, who do you think they would have hired?

and quite a few new GM's that have recently been hired have been balck. CLE, MIN, DET, WASH and ATL all come to mind.

Looks like Lovie got the gig.

it's rare an NFL coach gets two different chances, let alone three like Lovie. He went 8-24 with the Bucs after his Bears tenure.

Lol Flores had more wins last year than Lovie has in his career.

2-14 and 6-10. Considering the circumstances and that he got his franchise QB in year 2 (who we have the hindsight of knowing wasn't a franchise QB), that isn't a bad trajectory. Going from 2 to 6 on a bad team isn't terrible. You have to give coaches in those circumstances 3 or 4 years. Otherwise a lot of coaches would be fired, including Kyle Shanahan who regressed (6 wins in year 1 to 4 wins in year 2). Blindly looking at records without considering the circumstances leads to poor evaluation.
