You are an idiot. I have a family member who works in the District Attorney's office. All somebody has to claim is that he or she pushed me or shoved me or whatever. The police always arrest the person accused then the investigators see if charges should be filed. Let it play out, Dolt.

Yup I'm pretty sure if someone claims DV (reports it) then that person has to get arrested.

Why are so many people mentioning Drake Jackson? I dont understand.

B/c he's been inactive for the last 4 games. If CO is out then Drake should be active

Innocent until proven guilty.

This

I love how in the Bay Area everyone is guilty (without evidence} of something until its an athlete and all of a sudden its innocent until proven guilty.

That's the law you are stating.

However, the court of public opinion is far stronger.

If he doesn't play you think they are only going to go with 8DL this game?

He's been inactive for a couple games now. If Omenihu can't go for whatever reason, then people assume Drake will be next man up.

So you can get arrested for pushing someone to the ground? weak

That's assault.

Any type of unwanted physical contact can be construed as assault.

I had an off duty cop start a fight with a friend at a bowling alley because he was having a bad day in league, I grabbed my friend to physically extricate him from the fracas and in the process the back of my triceps touched the cop's shoulder and he used that as an excuse to throw a punch at me out of "self defense".

He said I was lucky he didn't haul me in.

Why would he not be able to play this weekend?

If i were the Niners I'd play him. I imagine the only way he doesn't play is the NFL suspends him.

He hasn't even been charged and there were no signs of injury. This is a nothing burger.

Maybe. I Hope the facts verify that, vs something else that's even more distracting.

Not in my mind. You are always innocent until proven guilty no matter your station in this society, but I am my own man so others may not share that ideal.

Unless the known evidence happens to be so overwhelming that it makes it easier to make am educated judgement.

It is so interesting to hear what happens in this state in comparison to others. My coworker in the office next to mine just recently told me about this guy putting hands on his cousin in Virginia. She had a couple bruises on her arms and a cut on her hand, and the cops literally told her there was nothing they could do because there wasnt any noticeable injuries that were definitive evidence of domestic violence. They left without even filing a report. And here Omenihu is arrested for alledgedly pushing his girl, when the article specifically states that she had no visible injuries. Crazy how different things are handled from state to state.

I find that hard to believe in VA. They arrest folks for speeding and running red lights. I work in VA and the police are super aggressive. Must be outside of Northern VA.

Like I stated a couple pages ago, that is absolutely not true everywhere.

That still doesn't make it right or even true. Remember Richard Jewell?

What's the status of Kalia Davis ?
So, what happened to Devonte when he was seen pushing a random person to the ground on camera?

The legal system needs to figure out who did what, if anything. Not the Niners, and not this week. He will play unless he admits to doing something wrong to the team.
