For what?

Just post your take and get out of this thread lol there's gonna be some bad takes

Its Bay Area quick to judge opinion. Oh you KNOW there's gonna be😉
The season will be over in 20 days. I doubt a local investigation will conclude within that time frame.
Maybe I'm a selfish jackass, but if the team feels reasonably sure that charges won't come, suffer the slings and arrows and play him Sunday.

Innocent until proven guilty.

This

100%

I love how in the Bay Area everyone is guilty (without evidence} of something until its an athlete and all of a sudden its innocent until proven guilty.

That's the law you are stating.

However, the court of public opinion is far stronger.

That still doesn't make it right or even true. Remember Richard Jewell?

This is California. The greater Bay Area to be exact. Things are different here.

Now the team has to do an investigation right? If there's something to this, the teams not gonna let him play. The NFL certainly won't let him play if there is anything to this accusation. Forget about the judicial system this week. It's all about the distraction for the players and the front office.

The NFL will not do anything at this point and cannot. This is left up to teams until the legal process plays out and that will be way down the road. The Niners are now put into a no-win position, but I think will most likely put in on the inactive list.

It is so interesting to hear what happens in this state in comparison to others. My coworker in the office next to mine just recently told me about this guy putting hands on his cousin in Virginia. She had a couple bruises on her arms and a cut on her hand, and the cops literally told her there was nothing they could do because there wasnt any noticeable injuries that were definitive evidence of domestic violence. They left without even filing a report. And here Omenihu is arrested for alledgedly pushing his girl, when the article specifically states that she had no visible injuries. Crazy how different things are handled from state to state.

I find that hard to believe in VA. They arrest folks for speeding and running red lights. I work in VA and the police are super aggressive. Must be outside of Northern VA.

You are right. I just asked him again. She's from VA. She lives in South Carolina, where this happened. My bad.

But the point remains.

Depends on the nature of the speeding. I sped once years ago and only got ticketed. That was it.

Why are so many people mentioning Drake Jackson? I dont understand.

Because he has been inactive the last few weeks and Charles may well be inactive now.

He's been inactive for a couple games now. If Omenihu can't go for whatever reason, then people assume Drake will be next man up.

What's the status of Kalia Davis ?

Is he a for-sure NFL lineman though?

I thought he was more a project, an LB that couldn't stop eating so they converted him to NT or something?
isn't he hurt ?
I remember the defending Super Bowl champion Giants we're looking like the best team in the NFL in 2008, then Plaxico Burress shot himself, was dismissed from the team for the rest of the year, and they completely fell apart down to stretch

distractions are very real. Thanks a lot dips**t

Imagine thinking a team's best offensive player shooting himself and missing a huge chunk of the season and playoffs is the same thing as this situation.
