Considering the timing, it could be a revenge tactic for a breakup or something. Some women lie about athletes raping or abusing them to get settlements or revenge by public shaming. Remember the Michael Crabtree incident around this time of the season?
Seems like a pretty weak case without another witness or bodily injury. Its a distraction either way, which is annoying.
I think it was a heated argument and he probably wasnt a gentlemen and she ended falling to the floor in some way and she called the cops. But its going to be he-said, she-said thing. I doubt she has any injuries so it shouldnt go any further
Could be once they both calm down you get the truth from both and find out nothing really happened. I guess that would be the best scenario.
Yep. And police did say there was no physical signs of injury. Many times, after all is calmed down the accuser decides not to press any charges.

I know I'm going to sound like a disgusting, wish-washy enlightened centrist here.
But I hope the truth comes out either way and that Kyle and Lynch make the right decision ASAP. For the sake of the team and—much more importantly—those directly involved.

Well this sucks,..
Girls get bent out of shape, guys loose their cool.... it happens...getting pushed over can happen and it is light years away from swinging on someone. Pushing a lady is not ok, knocking someone over leaving an argument is something else entirely. We don't know what we don't know.
When I was fresh out of high school I had my buddy and his girl get into a verbal fight, and she started swinging on him and actual hit me in the process. Clipped my scalp with her ring and...well... scalp cuts bleed a lot more then you would think.
Needless to say after everyone got separated she started to tell a story that her boyfriend and I assaulted her...like the two of us went at her. Dude neither of us even got up. the cops were called and it happened in a Denny's with security cameras and lucky for us that saw the whole thing.
That camera saved the day, because the first cop there saw a hand print on her chest from where she was pushed away and that was all they needed for Domestic Violence , forget my bleeding scalp and the blood all over the booth, forget no marks or busing on either of our hands and her knuckles all swollen up. The very slight... rapidly fading hand print was enough.
Girls lie, Guys lie getting to the bottom of who did what and why can be impossible.
It was an eye opening event. I will bounce out of a relationship at the first sign weird. That event and years of bartending has shown me that Domestic Violence is very....very real, and it happens much more often then it is reported. Most bars I worked at in my 20s had us kick the offender out and 99% of the time the BF or GF would follow them out and it would probably continue in the car and likely go unreported.
If a your partner triggers any sort of 6th sense...just end that and get out of that relationship at the first sign. It is not going to get better.
Just to end that story above, my buddy did not break up with that girl, but they drifted apart but hooked back up years later In their 30s. He built a nice little business that was a hotspot and one of the places to go for 20/30 year olds. That girl destroyed his life, she accused him of raping her daughter. He was arrested and had his name in the paper. Again, lucky for him... his attorney found out that her statements were almost spot on for another guy she accused of raping her daughter in a different state and the child slipped up when questioned about who did what and when. It appeared neither guy did anything to her and the mom just found a better way to destroy her Boyfriends when she got mad.

A legal decision with the DA to press or drop charges isn't going to happen in a week.
Hell the D.A. may not even review the case this month.

That's why it's up to Kyle and Lynch to make the right decision. We have five days until the biggest game in a year and the wrong decision could make us look very bad as an organization later on.
I genuinely don't know what the right decision is, by the way. But I'm also not the one in charge nor do I know all the facts.

Well I truthfully have been waiting for a Brock Purdy tweet from 10 years ago or something. Not quite that but sensed something was coming.

distractions are very real. Thanks a lot dips**t
Yup. Good example. Doesn't matter what happened. He said-she said does not matter. Whether he plays or not is insignificant. It does not matter.
What matters is this is a distraction.
