Oh man, I forgot about that. What a trainwreck Aldon was off the field. Just an absolute moron without any common sense.

So the man is arrested simply on her word with no evidence?
What do you mean no evidence? Evidence #1: An incident happened between her and Omenihu where she felt the need to call the police. Most people do not just call the police just because. Evidence #2: She stuck around and provided her statement to police. Evidence #3: Omenihu stuck around and provided his statement to police.
Exactly, absolutely no evidence whatsoever. I rest my case!
Lol good thing you aren't Omenihu's lawyer because he'd be done if you are resting your case on that.

Good thing you aren't either, because the "evidence" you provided don't prove he did anything to her. She called the police and alleged that he pushed her down. The police found no visible evidence to support her claim, and I'm told she denied medical attention. So, he was arrested solely on her word alone. Now, are you're claiming that her allegation alone suffices as evidence?

There is still clear and obvious—nay, nigh UNDENIABLE— evidence (assuming they're actually together) that he's clearly in a toxic, dysfunctional relationship. That he's in a little boy relationship instead of a grown ass man relationship. Sick of little boys sneaking their way onto this team.

This was not the time for this s**t. Dude is dead to me.

You have really gone way past the line of "rational". Not everyone was raised in a Convent. What was that like? I am guessing that's where you learned to be so overly judgemental.

Plus as I have already explained to him just say man. Grown is redundant as if he is a man, we know he is grown. No reason for the other word either.
Does this make it cheaper to resign him if it turns out it wasn't super bad?
No injuries but she called police? I've been there, and in my case it was the mom of my first child lying to police because I was sending her back home (she lives in another state). Cops ate her story up and she ran away with my daughter. Still hurts to this day.

Sorry but if Omenihu really wanted to hurt this girl, she would have a mark (at the very very least lol). This is BS.

Hhmmm...makes you think. Wasn't the city of SC and Yorks feuding?

PD probably has a memo that any incident involving sF players results in arrest.

You think a Seahawks player gets arrested for similar incident in their city? Lynch and several other players have been "investigated" for DV, DUI, etc and never results in arrest or missing games.

California has pretty strict laws on DV.

I believe police must arrest regardless.

I could be wrong - will wait for a lawyer/LEO to chime in.

If I were Kyle and John, I would make him inactive at minimum for the NFC Championship game pending him getting cleared of any wrong doing.

This isn't some episode of "Law and Order." This case won't be resolved for months. The 49ers have two choices. One, cut the guy. Two, give him another chance. That's it.

The 49ers have been BURNED by awarding second chances to players like this. I can think of two or three cases where they stuck by someone after a first offense, only to have a second shoe suddenly drop (McDonald, Foster, Miller). My thought is the 49ers cut ties with OmeniWHO. Either five seconds ago or after the season.

That's what Lombardi noted. As long as she claims injury (arm) even despite turning down medical attention, they have to arrest him. But no charge until evidence.

Damn, folks on here ready to crucify the guy. It was a misdemeanor! Are traffic tickets for broken taillights worthy of suspension? Is everybody on here dissing the guy ALWAYS in control of their emotions, particularly when a loved one is pushing your buttons? Just because a person makes a claim, doesn't mean it is what they say it is. We've had plenty of examples of lies being brough forth to enrich a particular person or group with no verification that what is being claimed is the truth. The rush to judgement is a mistake imho. The truth will come out and then there will be plenty of time to point fingers.

Are you comparing a traffic violation to a DV? Thats like saying murder is not a big deal because check fraud is also a felony.

What I'm saying is that a misdemeanor isn't something to get all dramatic about. What I'm saying is that a misdemeanor charge is not domestic violence like punching someone. I'm saying that maybe everybody should slow down on judgment until more is known. Obviously the police didn't view it as a dangerous situation for either party.

The OJ Simpson rule.
sad that california politicians an laws allow erratic, crazy, jealous women to derail things as big as an NFL teams super bowl run.
Dirty players win rings, look at donald, suh, ab for some examples.

I see this as a win

distractions are very real. Thanks a lot dips**t

Yup. Good example. Doesn't matter what happened. He said-she said does not matter. Whether he plays or not is insignificant. It does not matter.

What matters is this is a distraction.

I remember Chris Culliver

We didn't lose the SB because of Chris Culliver, we lost because the 49ers were unprepared. We were a no show the entire 1st half. IIRC it was Whitner who said the team just wasn't prepared to play that game. It was on Harbaugh and his staff, not Culliver cringing at homosexuality on media day.
