Right? Not sure what the complaining is all about. Most people thought they wouldn't have done anything.

Because it wasn't a "Splash" move like most 49ers fans want despite the fact these guys like Gilmore, Odell, and Von have injury concerns, and again no way I give up a 2 & 3 for a 32yr old EDGE even if DEN eats $9M.

It's frustrating too see the Rams trade for Von miller, whilst we trade for depth.

the Rams are 6-1 and gave up a 2nd/3rd…they're all in. Miller is a one yr rental and not exactly a pup.

Omenihu most certainly doesn't suck. He's young and has a couple yrs left on his rookie contract. this really isn't a bad move at all
OmeniWHO?

Omenihu was a 5th rounder

Why not? He's a decent player who's still plenty young and under a cheap contract

But 5th round is the only round we are good at

If it's a 5th rd pick it's gonna be in like 2024 or some s**t.

No way I trade a 2nd and 3rd for a 32yr old EDGE with injury issues even if DEN eats $9M of his salary. People b***h about our own getting hurt, and then they want to bring in guys who've had injury issues like Von, Gilmore, & Odell.

Lol this especially when we don't have 1sts for the next 2 years.

Agree with NY. Teams are in complete different positions plus millers old injury prone and cost a lot of draft comp. I would've been far more upset if we made the von trade in the position we are in.
It's funny guys like Grant say they have no clue who he is yet call themselves NFL all knowers lol.

I bet the rest of the GM's in the NFCW just got nervous.

Classic Paraag player.

No coincidence it was right after another NFCW move. It's simply a deflection move. They do this every time there's a big move within the NFCW.
When they make the championship DVD after the season, I expect Lynch to have a big grin talking about the heist that landed them Charles Omenihu.

Multiple guys on the mend can kill all of that. Hurst, Kinlaw, Willis (suspension), and Ford who shockingly is the healthiest of them all.

Overrated middle-tier players (Key, Ebukam, etc.) looked better on paper than in real life.

This is also true. I didn't expect anything from Key but thought Ebukam would at least be serviceable. Hope he's released.

The Rams are in a win all mode. Niners not so much
Know nothing about him. Any good?

Charles Omeni-WHO?

Not sure if Ford's concussion is more severe than they thought, but a little surprised considering Jordan Willis was talked up in camp/pre-season like he was a budding superstar, yet barely played in his first game off suspension despite Ford being out and Samson hadn't done much yet.

Different players, different roles. Omenihu is more of a tweener DT/DE type. He'll handle base DE duties and provide some interior pass rush on passing downs.

This. No downside to this move honestly. I don't think anyone is claiming he'll be a world beater but he's a decent young player with upside. He's a better player than LJ Collier who Seattle used a 2nd rounder on.

Acquiring him doesn't prohibit them from making other moves as well.
