R.I.P to a legend. wish he knew how bad his games have been for the last 15 years.
But him and Pat were always my favorite announcers. how i miss hearing them announce a game together.

Right.
I'm watching it right now, and I'm damn near in tears. I'm 39, this man's voice was my Sunday childhood. Watching those 49ers games every weekend was fantastic and John and Pat were a huge reason for that.
I really hope the NFL comes up with a permanent tribute to him, his legacy is way, way to important.

RIP Coach,
There will NEVER be another one like you. From your coaching days ranting and raving on the sidelines wearing that sideline ID hanging down from your belt. Winning Super Bowl IX against Minnesota and hearing Bill King describe " John Madden's grin is so wide he looks like a slick watermelon!" You jumping in the air like 2 inches. That's what Gene Upshaw said anyway.🤣😂....to your Miller Lite Commercials and busting through walls " Hey and another thing!...I don't care what anybody else says!". To your fabulous broadcasts on CBS and later with FOX and ABC and your " bams...booms...and pows!". Not to mention your invention of the telestrator giving us all viewers a coach's clinic as to what key plays to look out for, and how they work and how they don't. Finally giving the next generation of football fans an education of how the real game is played with Madden football on EA sports. You gave the world a real appreciation of the game coach . I only hope you realize that and now it is to all of us to take it to the next level and keep the sport burning bright. Godspeed John Madden . I miss you already😪

I'm 53 and it's been over a week now and I'm still sad about the coach...and Betty White. It was a HORRIBLE week for me😪

Its funny John replaced Vin as the #1 guy. Well actually Summerall did but they brought in John to do the color.
