Frank Gore played on some terrible teams, with terrible QBs, terrible coaching, terrible offensive strategies, and stacked boxes, for the majority of his prime. He was always the main guy that opposing teams would gameplan against. If you ask any other team, or fan base, what player they would take from our team from 2006-2011, Frank and Willis would be the first players to come out their mouths.

If that isn't elite than I don't know what is.

Thats without mentioning his rushing yards or scrimmage yards.

he was the whole offense from 2006-2011, with game changing plays, game in and game out.

I'm not sure if he's 1st ballot but one could argue the 49ers wasted the prime of his career. His first 6 years was on an offense that never finished in the top 20 in points or yards.

I agree it's stupid attention seeking.

Vish is actually a niner fan, so that take actually surprised me. He must be a younger fan that missed frank gores prime years and his importance those s**tty niner teams. only explanation I can think of.
