Reality is (some) women are attracted to superstar athletes and view them as a potential payday after a consentual hookup. I wasn't there so I don't know what happened but we have something called presumption of innocence which this thread completely lacks. You want to talk about the player.. fine. Unfortunately, that doesn't exist in the court of public opinion. I try my best to remain unbiased regardless of the allegation until the facts are sorted out and the dust settles. I just think it's funny that Roethlisberger has two rape allegations you never hear about and Manning put his nutsack on a female trainer's face. But both are viewed as pillars of their community and their character is unimpeachable.

And truth is a defense to defamation, so the person with standing to sue here (Roethlisberger) would open the door to the defendant proving, by a preponderance of the evidence, whether the allegations are true. That would not be a wise course of action.

Your thread and posts are trash and I would be surprised if you are even aware of the particulars in these cases.

First case, a friend of the "victim" received communication from the victim that she had consensual sex with Ben and she was bragging about it. Her friend delivered a sworn statement defending Roethlisberger to this effect. Second case, DA says he cannot prove guilt beyond a reasonable doubt and declined bringing charges.

I can accuse anyone of anything. I can even accuse you Deebo. My accusations are in no way a reflection of any guilt on your part until this is adjudicated in a court of law. That's how this works.

First off you do hear about the allegations. This thread summing up his career decided to flat say he is guilty of it and that was his legacy. Also he isn't viewed with impeachable character. The second post in here said "horrible person" and recently the WZ posted an article that a trade for Ben was nixed by the 49ers due to character. There has been a shroud over his character for years and he has paid a price due to these allegations which may or may not be true.

Many reports of him being a horrible person. Never said he's a rapist. Wouldn't surprise me but he's a known d******d.

He's a rapist. I don't have to prove it because the statement and opinion is mine.

my daughter was raped in a bowling alley bathroom and there was nothing consensual about it at knifepoint. Nor was there any documented evidence to rely on. So I guess that didn't happen.
