Tom Brady, QB retires again

Brady will probably stay retired oh, I'd say until about July (winkwink)

Jeezus when did this circle jerk spin out of control? All because some dude on the internet speculated that Brady will come out of retirement, go back on his word, and pursue some selfish endeavor? Brady couldn't beat the Rams with a pretty damn good squad in Tampa, what makes y'all think he can do it here? Y'all acting like Schefter broke this news.

You're saying the Bucs current roster is better than the Niners? N Tom couldn't beat the Rams with this roster? If bum ass Jimmy was able to win with Roster Tom would carve up these b*****ds up next year easily.

No. I'm saying the Bucs are a damn good team who were the reigning SB champs. They are a playoff caliber team with enough talent to beat anyone but couldn't beat the Rams. Just rolling TB12 out there in a 9er jersey doesn't guarantee a different outcome. Why is this even a debate? Brady is not un-retiring and he is not coming here.

Because they invested in another QB. That other QB needs to play football. I would say that Tampa had just as good as a roster as SF and all Brady did was take them to the playoffs.

What a way to kill a young QB's confidence & basically throw a cheap rookie QB contract down the s**tter.

They already had a chance to get Brady and said nah we'd rather have Jimmy. Either way IMO this is white noise and I don't see it happening.

Some people care about one yr and some people care about the next 10 years....I'd be just as shocked and it would be amazing to see Tommy in a SF uniform. IMO it would also create conflict with our young QB who's suppose to be the future and start playing football. Media would s**t on Lance all yr (10x worse then this yr) why you want to do that to the kid you invested in?

Tommy out there with Tom Compton/Brunskill blocking for him LOL. I'll believe it when I see it.

basically throwing Lance's rookie contract down the s**tter and any money saved from moving Jimmy is gone bringing in Brady. Toss in if it's trading for his rights, you're getting a one yr rental dats it. That's your return on moving our QB.

It's cool to think about as a SF fan, Brady in SF cool story...looking at it from teambuilding and what's best for the team outside of one yr IMO it's not smart. Also who's protecting 45 yr old Brady on the right side of the OL? I mean we have Trent and Mack under contract and McG has a torn quad...no one knows how that s**t will heal, that's a bad injury.

I was hoping for some qb drama free talks this offseason besides where jimmy is going... let this go yall.

Of course nothing is guaranteed. If I could put a number on it, do you want a 35% chance to win the SB with Trey Lance, or a 70% chance with Brady. That's what we're banking on NEXT year.
