Trade for this many already! What's taking so long

Uhh, the Bucs will lose $11.73M in cap room if they were to trade him, that's why, plus IT'S NOT HAPPENING, we're going all in with Trey Lance, as we should, we gave up 2 future 1st-rounders, a 3rd-rounder, to get Lance, he sat year 1, if he sits year 2, he'll have no played a full football season since 2019 when he was at North Dakota State, also in yr 3, he would then have 1yr as being the starter, after that, you have to decide whether to pick up a fully GTD 5th-yr option, that will be worth at least $20M for 2025, with literally 1 college season, & 1 NFL season(full) under his belt, plus if you don't, what does that say if they don't pick the option up? You just wasted those picks, I don't get these ideas of Brady or Rodgers to the 49ers, it makes no sense, both because we have Trey, & the cap.

You're wrong AB!!! Brady is going to be a Niner and he will complete our quest for 6!!

We screwed up by not drafting Tom Brady because he wasn't mobile, but his time is done. Trey Lance will take us to Lombardi trophy #6.

Can't wait
I can't believe how many people think getting Brady is a good idea. I wonder how many of them are the same people that criticize the O line because they can't pass protect. Now they want to bring in an 45 year old QB with less mobility than Jimmy. What could go wrong.

Realize Brady has such pre and post snap awareness it's hard to lay a glove on him. In 719 attempts he was sacked 22 times. Compare to JG who was sacked 29 times on 441 attempts. Consider also the style in Tampa is "no risk it no biscuit" meaning hold the ball, let routes develop downfield, and take shots. In a more quick strike YAC attack I calculate a sack total in the teens even with hundreds more attempts than JG.

I made a video about the trade speculation by fans. Of course there's no insiders reporting this as a possibility but yeah. I thought it would be fun to talk about. Let me know what you guys think.

Vast majority of fan and media speculation turn out to be false.

Oh I know. I highly doubt this trade ever even gets off the ground. More so just fun to talk about haha

We would probably get him at a cheaper contract with only one year of work lol

if Brady only gets to the playoffs and is one and done (highly doubt it with Jimmy taking us to NFCC) then Trey can come in with less expectations after Brady went one and done. As of now, NFCC is on a lot of fans head. They believe it's easy to carry a QB to one. So, having the GoAT would disprove hat if he's one and done.

Its a win win all around.

If you're ready to compete for a SB why not take a chance win the GOAT? Seems like a no brained lol

Because they invested in another QB. That other QB needs to play football. I would say that Tampa had just as good as a roster as SF and all Brady did was take them to the playoffs.

Yeah Trey go play after the goat lol. It's okay you haven't played a meaningful season of football in 3 yrs... oh and you only played one yr of college ball Yeah you're right our fans wouldn't s**t on him at all lol..... I'm sure the media wouldn't s**t on Lance if SF brought in Brady, no media pundits would call him a bust or blame Kyle/Lynch for burning years of first only to not play him for years. What a way to kill a young QB's confidence & basically throw a cheap rookie QB contract down the s**tter.

They already had a chance to get Brady and said nah we'd rather have Jimmy. Either way IMO this is white noise and I don't see it happening.

I already countered all these points. It seems like we're going to start repeating ourselves lol

You guys are acting like we're talking about just ANY QB. This is the GOAT that we are talking about. Just had one of his best years.

yes, Brady and Bucs lost by a FG in the waning seconds to the SB Rams. So that means we wouldn't have a great shot at a SB and shouldn't go after him? Josh Allen and Mahomes lost as well. if they were available also we shouldn't go after them either because hey wouldn't guarantee a SB either? See how that sounds?

you think that Trey is soft and wouldn't be able to handle sitting behind the GOAT and playing after he leaves? I would guarantee that Trey wouldn't have any issues and would most likely enjoy learning from he best QB anyone has ever seen for a year.

Why would the fans s**t on him? Because he has to sit behind the GOAT for a shot at the Lombardi? Cmon now Lol

the contract saving dont mean s**t if Trey doesn't do anything with it. So it's better to have cap space and no shot at SB? Nah I don't believe so. You may but not me.

so because we made the mistake of passing on Brady before we should do it again, if it presents itself?

Look you you don't want he GOAT that's fine. But to make it seem like it would create greater issues that would outweigh the chance at #6, then yeah, I guess agree to disagree lol

I'll take great experienced and the ability to quickly dissect defenses pre and post snap over mobility all day. I love Trey and think he'll be great for us in the future but if Brady wants to come home I'll take him in a heartbeat. I'm sure he'd be a lot more motivated to get his childhood team that 6th ring we've dreamt of forever.
do it!
