That's ridiculous and imo not happening.

Yeah, he either comes back this same off-season or doesn't at all imo. He's in his 40s, and playing QB isn't like playing TE where you can just come back and find your groove in a couple weeks like Gronk.

This is Brady though...who's been playing the position at its highest level now for over 20 years it's not like he's Trey Lance still trying to figure it out. It'll be like riding a bike for him as long as he doesn't let his body go and I don't think that's an issue.
Brady is smart enough to retire at this time. Right when the fat lady is warming up and father time is about to drop the hammer.

We cannot change history, the 49ers' screwed up in 2000, and 2005.

Screwing up again (by bringing in a washed Brady on top of an already not so good salary cap situation) will not fix the earlier screw-ups.

He could win the Super Bowl with this team.

Vegas has Brady at 45-1 odds of winning the 2022 MVP...

We're talking about 2022, not 2021. When someone is in their mid-40's you expect them to maintain a high level in perpetuity? Get real.

Putting your faith in a 45 year old to retain their skills for 20/21 games and confidently expecting no drop off what-so-ever seems very, I don't know, dumb.

We're getting rid of Jimmy because we already have a better guy to replace him, and then we're going to bring in a high priced dinosaur (by NFL standards)?

That seems like a dumb idea, too. Brady is retired because he's smart enough to walk away before his play drops off of a cliff.

I don't want to see old man Brady embarrassing himself and embarrassing the 49ers because he is no longer Superman, and stunting Trey's development in the process.

If we brought in Brady what do we do about our own free agents? How do we build a team around him? Folks are living in fantasy land.

His play showed no signs of dropping off a cliff this year....he should have won MVP.
f**ken Brady. Knows other NFC teams are getting better than a maxed out Bucs team, semi-retires in hope of landing on one of those teams.

You said he's washed up. He's washed up based on what? Certainly not his on field play. So it's just you basing it off thinking he can't keep up his quality of play (which people continually said when he was 38, 39, 40+, etc). Now does that mean you're wrong? No, not necessarily. It's possible he could just drop like a rock, but that is extremely unlikely. If we could get brady, you do it.
Love Brady and wish we had moved on from Jimmy for him knowing what we know now…

But I'm way too excited to see Lance to have a year or two of Brady.
If Brady won a ring his retirement would be more definite.... but im sure losing before the nfc championship left a bad taste in his mouth for sure. I'm not sure if he will come back but this whole offseason it will be constantly brought up.

Brady and his wife are worth 650+ million if he really wanted to come here to finish out his career it wouldn't be for the money.
