Edit, sorry thought this was the interview with someone from the Buccs that was on this show today about trading Brady/Jimmy
plus i wouldn't take these guys as having any credible stuff
Nothing to be sorry about. NY being NY lol
Brady would give us our best shot to win a SB next year. Or the near future.
Ask any other teams fan or analysts which player would you go with next year if you can choose between Lance and Tom. Who do you think they would choose? It's a no brainer if possible..
No one has said it's a 100% certainty that Brady would come the Niners, just the thought that if it's a possibility we should pursue it. At least for one year.
You think TW, Bosa, Deebo, Juice etc would oppose Brady coming here for a run at the SB. Hell no! Lmao
When Deebo was asked about his thoughts on having Tom as his QB, Deebo got really giddy. He was going to say it would be amazing before he caught himself and realized how some would turn it around as bashing Trey.
also, do you really think these guys know what WTf they're talking about? lol
Forget the phone, Lynch and Shanny need to get on the private jet to go and see Tom to mend the fences and get the deal done!!
5,300+ yards, 43 TDs, you are not going to find a QB with better production than that.
With Tom, the chances of 9ers winning a Super Bowl goes up 100 times!! Easily!!
Forget about how much or little Lynch and Shanny have achieved to date, landing Tom will without an ounce of doubt surpass anything they have done to date!!
This will be a franchise history-altering move by the 9ers if they can make it happen!!

Heard some interesting things recently... The Tom Brady & Bruce Arians honeymoon was over in Tampa. The retirement announcement wasn't because of the trouble seeing eye to eye on the offensive game planning, but the relationship was souring.

Apparently, while Arians was rehabbing the achilles in the early mornings, offensive coordinator Byron Leftwich and Brady would work on the week's game plan. Arians would later come in and take the red pen to work they'd done. The QB and OC felt undermined, there was tension.

If there's any truth to this then Leftwich has to bounce on Arians to further his career. He came up under Arians as a coach and Arians apparently still sees him as the perpetual underling. Hard to develop in an environment like that.

Any communication with Tom, by phone or by plane would probably constitute tampering by NFL rules as Tampa still owns his negotiating rights even if retired.

Relax, there are ways. Let's just put it this way, if the 9ers are really going after Tom, they are not going to just trade for his rights with Tampa without knowing whether Tom would sign with the 9ers.

Wouldn't hate Tom but would rather we steer clear. Put our money saved from trading JG and our draft capital to better use and continue to build on what we have with and around Trey.

Not for me. We got to win NOW! This team has been ready to win for a long time already. Too many wasted opportunities especially when Shanahan turned down Tommy in 2020. That turned out to be a huge mistake. Instead, Tom went to Tampa and won a Super Bowl immediately. Trey Lance is not ready yet. He can definitely sit behind Tom for another year. Is really time to get the job done and win the 6th!! Is long overdue.

I mean. Brady would want to bring in his own system and own guys right? He basically overhauled the Bucs IMO.

Bring his own system? Says who? He might suggest a couple of players tops, he is not going to bin Shanahan's system.
