If Purdy has a full tear, I'll take Brady for a season. Lance is still a great unknown and this roster is playoff ready right now. Brady has lost some on his arm but he was still able to put up some very good performances despite a historically bad run game and shoddy OL.

He's going to cost a lot though. Yeah, I get it, you do what it takes to win the SB, but still.

1000000% this. The team is ready to win now, and Brady still has some gas in the tank. He also wouldn't need to throw it 50 times a game here.

That is a very good point, but I still hope Purdy is okay.

We can get that number down to 25, cut it in half. Imagine TB12 who has always done well throwing to TEs and backs, throwing to Kittle and CMC.

Yup. Go get Brady for a year, let Lance work in behind him and after Brady is gone, let everyone else fight it out for the spot.

+2. Just would hope they could make it work financially in assembling a quality roster with good depth like this season. Having a strong draft this year would really help.

I know I said f**k Tom Brady and the rumors. But that was before I read the news of Brock Purdy. God dammit the 9ers just can't catch a f**kin break.
Go get Brady for a year and lets roll on back to the playoffs.

But what if Purdy is ready for Training Camp? You´re gonna sit him one year behind Brady?
And Brady is certainly not gonna come for a one shot either with his childhood team.
I mean I´d much rather see even a not prepared Purdy play than Brady.
He needs to play, he needs the reps, not to sit one year behind Tom. For what? He´s freaking good enough to win the Superbowl.
And Brady won´t come cheap either. I would go with Trey in the offseason until Brock comes back and use the capspace to improve the team around them.
Now if Brock is out for one year, I just don´t want to think about it...

f**k it. Pay the man and buy a championship next year. No team would be more justified in buying a ring than a team went 15-5 the year before with three different starting QBs.
And even if Brady gets injured you still have Lance and Purdy, who will learn behind the GOAT.

Brady will have a born-again year with the 49ers. He loves the run game and can still throw. I'm all in, time to win a SB with what we have.

I could see it. Ring #5 was Prime Time. It is the 49er way.
