And Brady won´t come cheap either. I would go with Trey in the offseason until Brock comes back and use the capspace to improve the team around them.
Now if Brock is out for one year, I just don´t want to think about it...

If he needs a complete reconstruction then he'll be a non-factor next season anyways.

There are multiple ways to fix a torn UCL. A repair (attaching the ligament back to bone / sewing it together) has a 6 month recovery. A full on reconstruction (replacing the ligament, aka Tommy John) is usually 9-12 months. Tough news for Brock Purdy.

If he was only going to be out for 6 weeks or guaranteed to be in football shape for training camp where he and Lance can fight it out, then forget Brady, roll with those two guys absolutely but his injury might not have him ready to go until late in the season, if at all.
