And Brady is certainly not gonna come for a one shot either with his childhood team.
I mean I´d much rather see even a not prepared Purdy play than Brady.
He needs to play, he needs the reps, not to sit one year behind Tom. For what? He´s freaking good enough to win the Superbowl.
And Brady won´t come cheap either. I would go with Trey in the offseason until Brock comes back and use the capspace to improve the team around them.
Now if Brock is out for one year, I just don´t want to think about it...

They'll know the likely prognosis for Purdy before we even get to FA.
Talking "what's if's" here but would everyone just gag if we didn't grab Brady, he went to the Raiders and they won a chip?

Stunt Brock's growth for a year just seems like a slap in the face

If he needs a complete reconstruction then he'll be a non-factor next season anyways.

If he was only going to be out for 6 weeks or guaranteed to be in football shape for training camp where he and Lance can fight it out, then forget Brady, roll with those two guys absolutely but his injury might not have him ready to go until late in the season, if at all.

On the other hand, don't some pitchers come back even stronger after Tommy John or am I trippin?

I'm just saying. Tom brings some magic to the locker room and I think this veteran team would embrace it, roll with it and triumph.

I know I said f**k Tom Brady and the rumors. But that was before I read the news of Brock Purdy. God dammit the 9ers just can't catch a f**kin break.

Go get Brady for a year and lets roll on back to the playoffs.

yessir that's the NFL.. not for long.. things happen fast, it's why i like this league

Agreed.

Go get Brady, fix the OL and then win a super bowl.
The Webzone is on board. It won't be long till ShannaLynch set up lunch with TB12. They know we are right. I know Paraag can make the numbers work 🙃

Agree. I was even a strong "no" on Brady a few years ago but this is different. Rest of the 49ers machine is in prime form.

You can also rub some dirt on it and keep on keeping on.
I say bring him. This window isn't staying open for long.

I agree. Our window is closing. We don't have time to develop. We are in a win-now mode.

Agreed, we could win with Jimmy G and Purdy but would somehow regress with TB12 the goat? I'm not buying it lol 😂

Who thinks the locker doesn't immediately buy in and say "Let's Effin Do This!"? It would be Superbowl or bust 2023
